Sounds like boris johnson. Uk members will know.I want an ad that just has a greasy guy looking at an iPhone on a table rubbing his hands and saying "yesssss, it's very nicccccce" and then he licks his lips and it just shows the
So, a young couple, say, each with their own iPhone 6s, and one goes "Hey Siri". Do both phones answer? Or, say, a group of people. What happens then?
This is so true for Apple products lately.
As a life long Apple fan, since the 90s, I liked them because they were easy to use and consistently worked. You would have the occasional problem or bug, but for the most part, Apple stuff would do the job. There was little thinking or effort involved.
Now, it seems like they do the job most/some of the time, and are getting more complex to use. There are random restarts with the iOS/ATV4 devices, and the Macs are kinda buggy. Mac OS hasn't had a stable OS since Snow Leopard. Well, ML was okay.
I kind of feel like Apple is currently where MS was 10-15 years ago.

They're good ads (love the observatory views) but the inappropriate use of the word "share" irks me too.OK, fine, I'll say it. Maybe I'm being persnickety, but I don't like how all of these headlines say "Apple shares..." like they're so graciously and generously blessing us with their advertising. They could keep it to themselves, but no, we are so lucky they are SHARING it with us.... How about "Apple unveils..." or "Apple releases..." I never say to my friend: "Did you see that new commercial that McDonalds shared during the Super Bowl?". I say "Did you see that new McDonalds commercial?".
I can see how, in a sense, "sharing" is used in context with being online; "sharing photos", "sharing articles", "sharing <online content>" -- but I thought I've seen these same advertisements that are always "shared" with us on MacRumors on TV as well. Correct me if I'm wrong and these are always online-only. If not, and they make it to TV, it would seem "sharing" that would apply to an online context does not seem to work here, it just makes it sound like we're feeling so fortunate to get to see these. (and some aren't very good, but some are OK)

I think the first ad was too long and enough with the celebrities already.
Hey Siri, define "false advertising."
Ridiculously powerful, still stutters when pulling down spotlight.
I don't even want to watch these. With how I feel about them at the moment, it will likely make it worse.
Hey Siri,
Why is google now so much better?
"because all of Apple's best engineers have let Apple"
Aww, it's so nice of Apple to "share" these million dollar ads.![]()
It seems that Hey Siri only works half the time for me/us. Both my wife and i got 6S'es and we both set it up. Very often, when I say hey Siri, both phones activate - very strange! other times, I can say her Siri 10x and the phone will not respond at all - very disappointed because I like the feature for asking for time and weather without touching the phone in the morning.
This is why I don't think I can waste anymore time in this forum. Look at all of these posts. Absolutely worthless. Silly comments made for the sake of making silly comments. No thought. No discussion. Just childish meaningless nonsense.
I agree that should have been fixed the now, the stuttering, but at least it's not the phone, it's the software. The phone is a powerhouse.
You two are reading waaay too much into it. Sharing is just an operative word in social media. There's even a share button on this post.
Apple 'unveils' is for product, 'releases' for software updates.
That's a really ignorant thing to say. People can't speak their minds in a forum? Leave then. Please. This is why I don't think I can waste anymore time in this forum. Look at all of these posts. I think there may be something wrong with my 6s+ because it doesn't seem that fast, it seems more laggy then my 5s.
Also, the 3D touch is pretty annoying. Opening a link sometimes takes multiple taps to get it right. And selecting text is almost impossible now. I hate typing anything on it.
Although, I might be touching it wrong.
I think your missing the point.View attachment 603387 "The only thing that's changed is everything"
Yeah really.
Not persnickety if you ask me. Exactly what I've been thinking all this time too; cringe every time I read it, makes no sense to use the word "shares."
Apple tonight shared two new iPhone 6s ads on its YouTube channel, highlighting the Hey Siri feature and the speed of the device at tasks like opening messages, browsing Safari, using Messages, playing games, and using the camera.
The first video, "Ridiculously Powerful," focuses on the speed of the iPhone's A9 processor and shows it being used for Apple Pay, games, taking photos and video, and more. "Not much has changed, except it's ridiculously powerful, which makes everything faster," says the opening narration.
The second video, "Hey Siri," focuses on the always-on Hey Siri feature of the iPhone 6s. With older iPhones, Hey Siri could only be activated when the iPhone was plugged in, but with the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus, hands-free Siri voice activation is available at all times.
These two latest videos are part of Apple's iPhone 6s "The only thing that's changed is everything" campaign, a tagline and concept Apple CEO Tim Cook first introduced when the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus debuted in September to highlight their revamped internals. Apple has released several advertisements using the wording, focusing on the iPhone's camera, Siri, and 3D Touch.

"Hey Siri, goodnight" is meant for homekit. If you have homekit enabled lighting in your house, saying goodnight shuts them all off. If you don't have connected lighting, then saying goodnight elicits the response you got."Hey Siri, goodnight."
— "Looking into your lights... Sorry John, I don't see anything connected."
