One simple useful option that I've been waiting for years for iOS was for the icons to not have to auto arrange to the top left but thank the heavens that we have stickers!:confused:

I just don't get the "I'm too old" bs. You're never too old to enjoy things. Even pointless silly things. I'm sure everyone that complains about stickers making messages to bloated has something semi moronic they like in life. Semi moronic is fine. Just enjoy it, who cares.

Even at 30 sometimes I enjoy being a miserable, annoyed POS, looking at people having fun and mumbling about what morons they are...other times, like today, everyone is getting stickers in response to their messages! Although I did have to research how to even use stickers haha

:apple: Apple are giving us what we want. Next, a MacBook Pro with Touch Screen & Apple Pencil and Apple Watches with Round Faces. Forget the considered opinions of Steve Jobs, Designers, Engineers, et all who know something about these things, and on different occasions said No! Honestly, we have no one to blame but ourselves! o_O

Huh? How is Apple giving us what we want? Where is the real pro laptop - the one that doesn't require dongles, can support RAM above 16GB AND is user installable? Where is the MacPro and upgradable (storage and RAM) 21" iMacs? Where is the tablet with a real file system?

I don't recall anyone here asking for useless touch bar that caters to emoticons. Or begging Apple to dump Apple displays and Airport.

So who is this "we" you speak of?

Not my Apple anymore.
It's pretty embarrassing actually.

They are self-promoting their effort in dumbing down communication. Words and the use of a natural languages can be infinitely beautiful, depending on your skill, wit and creativity. But I understand that they may be hard to patent or charge money for...

I think they add fun and make messages funny and better to use! I don't know why people don't like them.
It's not that people don't like them, the same people comment on every thread with hate if it's not what they want to read(mac pro and mini, and f the touch bar).

If only they realized how childish it made them look.

Are you forced into using emojis and stickers?

Some people use text messages for "quick" conversation. It's still 100% possible to text out a novel.

Hey, let's all pretend we are Snapchat and clutter our messengers with BS
You are probably to old to get this. And you probably never had a MySpace account. The one thing about many of the profiles is they were absolutely cluttered with banners, GIFs, music and other such nonsense. Who was the demographic for MySpace? 13-19 year olds. The best way to use the messey MySpace profile as an analogy is that it's like their bedroom, messy, and music always playing.

Since I know the comments are coming, I like stickers and ALSO want a new Mac Pro. It is possible to like both.

Do you think that software devs are responsible for marketing? Or do you think that stickers are a new thing?

MacRumors comment section is a place to drown your sorrows, apparently. Did anyone read the article or did you all just jump in to cry about 1 thing or another that has nothing to do with this thread?

I'd be more impressed if they actually made decent computers these days.... Or am I alone in thinking this?
No, you are not alone. Read the comment section on any article, no matter the subject.

But you know that, you just want to fan a fire.

I would say anybody who believes that any more than a very very tiny fraction of 1% of Apple's $10+ Billion R&D budget going to stickers is not very intelligent.
The point is why? Apple has dumbed down photo editing, dumbed down video editing, trying to push iTunes out of existence, gotten rid of all accessories (except dongles) and dumbed down computers. I'd say they have given up on everything except kids with money. Good luck with that!
