I'm trying to work out if you are being serious or not.

“It is in Apple’s DNA that technology alone is not enough—it’s technology married with liberal arts, married with the humanities, that yields us the results that make our heart sing."

this ad is at the true intersection of those things.

99% of the world is either just like the team depicted, or, would love to be aspire to be close to the level that the team depicted would like to perform to.

for the 1 per centers out there, who dont like the ad because you have some sort of space mission critical use, there has always been and will always be Cray Inc (formerly Cray Research) for you. :)

this ad depicts something close to every-day people with every day realities.
it is a very apple ad.
at the intersection of tech and the humanities.

Um. The pizza box or the number of people needed to create it?

I like the quote nonetheless.

The underdogs who pay 2x for a product that does half of what the competitors does and breaks in the most obvious ways, but comes with extra emojis
Nah, the underdogs whose employer pays for the devices because they value the fact that the devices are available, enterprise-manageable and therfor easy to upgrade and maintain

Glad they're spending time on that stuff rather than the Mac Pro or fixing these blasted butterfly keyboards.
Thanks Tim Apple, I feel better now!

You may not understand that Apple's marketing and media production specialists are not the same designers/engineers/techs/coders/etc who are developing the new Mac Pro. Those are two different groups.

Yup, those actors would totally be great when it comes to working on the Mac Pro or fixing the keyboards.

Looks like they’re trying to combat Microsoft’s Surface commercials, something they’ve probably needed to address for awhile.

by far..the boring and 'all over the place' ad from Apple..i always loved Apple Ads..

was that MS excel they were using when guy said 'Inbox'? Mean boss towards her Executive assistant..???? Politically correct Tim Apple approved this?

Great tad. Well done.

Shame Apple’s products are low quality nowadays.

Confused which products you using because the last "low-quality" product i've seen from Apple is HomePod. Heck, even saying that is a but if a stretch!

It's strange that Apple still markets as "creative underdogs." It's like a throwback ad campaign. Given the amount of stuff being done all over the place, by everyone, I would have thought they could have come up with one better. I mean, why not have a "we know our sh*t" commercial, with real professionals using Macs as tools to do their jobs?

"I made a whole instagram campaign from my beachfront cabana with my iPhone and a MacBook Pro."

Of course, it might get "too real" for marketing:

"I'm a mom, and I run my Etsy business, do my Pinterest/Facebook/Instagram, order my groceries, and check NextDoor in my minivan while I shuttle my kids around town."

Odd, “Apple at work” for us is a bunch of people running G-Suite/Drive in Chrome and a sprinkle of Messages here or there...

this is a totally brilliant ad.
i loved it. the ad works on so many levels.
- collaboration methods - cloud - design tools - and most of all, describes the way that teams often do work together. it added so many elements beyond the actual topic of work collaboration: the way colleagues (re)act; your life at home; and most of all, it reveals the ways we are both professionals and have private/personal sides dealing with each. this ad makes me want to buy apple products.
You are so easily sold. 99% of computer users don’t work like this nor do they have the need to. They need solid fast machines at excellent prices, which these are not. But glad u loved the ad. Was well done in an artful style. They are going after people who want to spend money based on creative albeit unrealistic commercials.

Not exactly...
