Same situation and was able to choose express shipping. No movement. I also spoke to an Apple rep while I was updating my credit card info, and she said that my stock MBA would be shipping in "a couple of days." Bleh.

Stupid plague ruins everything.
Does anyone know if UPS does not report a shipment leaving Hong Kong to the USA until it arrives in the USA? No movement reported since 4:00 p.m. yesterday.
Any time I had a shipment departure or arrival by plane, the tracking update came within minutes of the take-off/landing. Now it's possible that UPS can have delayed tracking updates, but the scan time should still be the same. They don't wait to unload the plan to scan the actual shipment. The plane's arrival/departure counts as it's scan (at least based on what I've seen from my flights and scan times)
Same boat as everyone else.

this is encouraging. i ordered the same thing on Nov 18 (dec 11-18 estimate)...we'll see where my lands, but i at least have some hope that it will show up in the originally estimated time frame.

I have received this message a couple of days ago. But nothing is moving at all.
My config is a bit different (MBA 8/8 16gb 512) but I also ordered November 18th, still in process and same exact delivery time frame.
Here's my saga with a happy ending.
Ordered MBP 16g/512 on 111/12 with a shipping date of 12/7-12/14. Got shipped email 11/26 with the same arrival date. Checked FedEx and they had delivery 12/2. Watched tracking, and it arrived at city about 1.5 hours away on Saturday 11/28 at about 7am. Sat there all day Saturday and Sunday with no movement.
Monday morning when I woke up and checked, it was at the FedEx shipping depot in the city I'm a suburb of.
I thought cool, delivery today.
At 9:10 I looked at tracking, and there was a notice that they had tried to deliver it at 9:01. I didn't hear the knock on the door.
No Out for Delivery, no texts (which I usually get), no nothing. FML!
The notice that I got did say I could try to pick it up at the facility after 1:00 pm.
I drove there (thank God for GPS) yesterday afternoon and showed the lady my tracking number on my phone, and after about 5 minutes she came back with my package!
It's worth the wait. This thing rocks!

Edit: I don't really see any Suparna flights that line up. Still pleased though.
I just got the exact same scan. But I cannot get too excited yet since we got "departed from facility" once before and nothing happened. Still the fact that UPS actually texted me today with rescheduled delivery date is different than the previous departed facility.

Mine changed to departed from facility as well, at 7:05. Hope we will see another scan in Anchorage tomorrow morning.YES! I love it!

I know it was a frustrating experience, caused by an unfortunate coincidence and extended by UPS mishandling, worsened by non-transparent communication from both UPS and Apple, but this is my first time buying something directly from the online Apple Store and I must say, I'm impressed. Apple chartered a whole plane just to get our Macs out of Shanghai when UPS couldn't handle the crisis fully.
