Oddly enough one of them showed up today for me too, but the other didnt. I relooked at the tracking and it shows an arrival scan yesterday, then this morning in memphas TN. I think it was lost for 24h in their warehouse
. Oh well that one will arrive tomorrow and its still faster than a friday delivery.So my original December 8th to 16 delivery date turned out to be a november 30th and 31st delivery for two macbook air 16gb's. I'd say apple did very well with the speed, hopefully this gives hope to those with late december dates.
Same here. Left the facility yesterday but no update since then and no delivery date
December 1st you mean haha. But yes Apple did a good job getting the computer out and FedEx did an amazing job getting the computer here quickly. Delivery 3 days after it shipped including a weekend! Still waiting on mine. Should be in the next 19 minutes. Will post full timeline and tracking from the computer itself once it's here! My sense is DHL puts in "Shipment information received" as soon as they get the initial order info from Apple - well before the item arrives in Eindhoven. I believe that items from China travel first by UPS and are transferred to DHL when they arrive in Europe. I might be wrong about this. I recently experienced a two-week wait with my Apple Watch 6 shwoing "Shipment information received". That said, the watch did arrive on the original delivery date provided by Apple Italia.
Ordered same config on 11/11 (delivery window 12/11-18). Exact same shipping status and location...
I’m so jealous! Mine is STILL listed as being at my local FedEx facility. As long as it doesn’t still say “not scheduled for delivery” for today, I’m remaining hopeful. Looks like the first timestamp of the day is like a “check in” and then the next timestamp is like what it’s doing for the day or something. I could still see another update in about 1½ hours either for delivery or yet ANOTHER day in a warehouse.
Again, for anyone else that says FedEx is better than UPS:
In roughly 25 hours my M1 MBP 16GB/2TB went from Shanghai to Anchorage, to Memphis, to Chicago, and finally to my local facility. 25+ hours! Then after checking in at 7:50AM on a Friday morning, it remained on a shelf for (so far) over 73 hours! Ok fine, “no weekend delivery”.. and yes, it did arrive on Black (metal) Friday.. but come on! I’ve had all weekend off and still have today off.
Omg lol. I totally forgot nov is 30 days. I was still waking up when the doorbell range and i typed this up lol. Hopefully yours arrives soon that way you can play with it.

Same thing for me. I am still not convinced packages actually left Shanghai - just moved from one location in Shanghai to another but then they should have been scanned again fairly quickly. Also I have not heard back yet from Apple regarding request for UPS investigation on Sat. I was told to call back if I had not heard anything by today. I’ll leave it another few hours then call again.
If this is ups thats why you dont have a delivery. It'll sit there until the scheduled delivery date. Also just so you know UPS took more than 24 hours you forgot that we live in the past and the time change messing up with how fast shipping takes. According to fedex my both of my laptops shipped on day apart arrived in TN within 24h from china which has multi scans along the way at odd times contradicting each other because of the time differentials.
Hopefully apple has a contract with ups telling them to delivery early, if not that definitly sucks because fedex delivered my macbook air 4 days before the scheduled delivery date.

Based on how yours will be delivered today, I suppose mine will arrive tomorrow perhaps, even though it still says Friday 12/4

So many factors can affect your order like model, ram, hdd space, 8core gpu vs 7core, color, ect... Hopefully its shipped for you soon, but my guess if that you picked a very popular combination thats back ordered more than the rest.
As long as its fedex your golden. I dont think ive read anyone yet mention getting their ups delivery early? I could be wrong, but I cant recall that. I hate ups because of that I've never received a package early from them they always hold it, or never scan it until its on the truck for delivery to make you wait until the scheduled date. They do this to pevent all ground shipments from beating the faster shipments on purpose.
Question for anyone in the usa. Has anyone that got a ups shipment got their mac delivered earlier than the scheduled delivery date?
My 16gb/1TB Mini is still “processing” with an estimated arrival date Dec 16. I ordered on Nov 17. I don’t understand why Apple can ship the base models immediately but the upgraded models take a month. You would think they would produce enough of both models and all configurations to cover demand before launch.

In case it helps, here is my tracking info. Just delivered 10:30 EST on Monday, shipped Thursday from China.

This is the first time Fedex is delivering from China for me and I cannot even compare it with UPS. I had more than 24 hours with absolutely no movement with UPS but with Fedex, there is always movement and some updates. Fedex is really good
that's the thing I ordered the basic MBA model. no special configuration or anything.
I’ve always had excellent luck with FedEx, too. Almost always early or at the very least on time. As for the times listed, it’s not listed on Mobile or on the App, but you can adjust the times to show only the destination times, that way you don’t have the weird time differences. It’ll still show local Shanghai time when it left, but then destination time after. Factoring all of that in for me it’s roughly 25½ hours from Shanghai to Aurora, IL.
Same here. Ordered on 11/15. Same configuration, same delivery window. Strangely, on my call yesterday with Apple, customer support hinted that it will be shipping from a US warehouse. Keeping my fingers crossed that is the case.
