The suspense as everyone refreshes ups.com looking for updates for the next couple hours 😆
@GHalstead and #ShanghaiGang2: "The Departed". UPS109 just landed in Louisville! Did you see any tracking updates yet?
Nope. The next flight to my local hub is in 4 hours so I have some time I guess 🤞
This update is make or break. If it doesn't come, that means #TheDeparted never actually departed? And also spells bad news for Shanghai Gang 1. However, I did notice that there is another round of UPS109 coming from NRT through ANC to SDF, and there is also UPS105 from ANC to SDF en route and pretty close currently. So if your packages weren't on that flight there's still hope they arrive on those.
Obviously, it will take a while between the plane landing (which it just did ~15 mins ago) and the packages actually being unloaded, scanned for arrival, and the tracking update going out. So there's a good chance you guys are gonna get an update tonight!
@Eike001 were you ever able to confirm on the spreadsheet that "Unregistered" on Row 11 was you? If so, could you please go in and delete one of your rows and update the one you decide to keep? The one I created labeled "Eike001" has most of the details that I found on the forum and is pretty up-to-date, it's just missing "Delivery Estimates".
I still can't believe they will fake departure scan to calm customer down, it's not worth it.
Even if they did not leave, we are having so many flights coming to Shanghai these days.
I can’t see them doing a fake scan. There wouldn’t be a point to it. Our packages left Shanghai, but where exactly they are we have no idea.
I'd say it'd take an hour minimum. There's a lot of packages to unload and then they have to go through a long conveyor belt system before they are scanned.
And there will be extra sanitizing process and social distance rules to slow down the process further. I believe UPS does not want Louisville to be next Shanghai, or UPS will be totally screwed.
What will the return flight number of UPS128 be? I don't have access to enough history of UPS127 or UPS129 to figure it out.
Came all the way down to my local warehouse (Charlotte, NC) and has been sitting there since 8:45AM Monday. Delivery date is unchanged at 12/4 Friday. I guess they'll just hold on until the scheduled day of delivery. Damn..
You might get it tomorrow. Very likely it missed the truck this morning. Have patience, it hasn't even spent 24hours at the facility yet.

Sorry for the late replay, I was not aware of this spreadsheet. I have updated my row and deleted the double (Row 11 unregistered).
#ShanghaiGang2 representing! Added my details to the sheet as well. Ordered 11th, shipped 21st, stuck in customs clearance, then postponed and then left Shanghai on the 29th with no ETA from UPS but Apple still says tomorrow. My order is for a MBP 16/512 but also bought a 8/512 for pickup tomorrow at the local apple store. Will return it once I get my 16/512.
So my M1 MBP FINALLY arrived today (after a lot of stressful calls to Fedex and Apple)! I ordered an 13" MBP M1/16GB/2TB on 11 Nov 2020. So far its amazing. I am still a bit worried about dead / stuck pixels on the screen. I've had bad experiences in the past and seeing how I will be keeping this for at least 6-8 years, I want to make sure that there aren't any screen anomalies. Bit off topic for this thread but if anybody knows of good tools to check for these anomalies, please DM me.
