At this point what did we expect? So predictable. Does anybody (in the world) honestly have any doubts as to Apples political leanings? Apple is very socially liberal and expects everyone to capitulate to their world view.
Why are Americans complaining about Donald Trump? They clearly wanted this guy as president; they picked him in the primaries and then elected him over Hillary in the end as well.
Capitulate? No. Offer their opinion, yes. Same as you are doing now.At this point what did we expect? So predictable. Does anybody (in the world) honestly have any doubts as to Apples political leanings? Apple is very socially liberal and expects everyone to capitulate to their world view.
I would be for using just the popular vote moving forward, but he won fairly under the current system. It's not the first time a president lost the popular vote and got elected, it's happened with other presidents even before Gore.
Apple is the most influential company in the country that has always made products that don't care about orientation, beliefs, or any of that. Their CEO is a homosexual. Welcome to the USA under Trump. This activism will only intensify. Here we go again. Stick to making consumer products.![]()
All of the things going on in our country and your main concern is the refresh cycle of the Mac Pro?
In this moment they're being exactly the company I want them to be.
Apple is (rightly) on the correct side of history on this issue. At this point what did we expect? So predictable. Does anybody (in the world) honestly have any doubts as to Apples political leanings? Apple is very socially liberal and expects everyone to capitulate to their world view.
I'm sure an audit into the expenditures of Apple and Tim Cook would more than prove all of this nonsense is BS.Words are cheap though, apple is the first to say the right things and the last to fund any initiatives. What does apple actually support via funding? No need to answer that . Have you ever heard Tim Cook telling the Chinese politicians about equality? That is what I don't like....

There were people like you when Martin Luther King, Jr. walked the earth. They were on the wrong side of history as you are now.

And Apple does a lot more for the US than it does for China.
I'm not going to debate whether or not Apple adequately funds causes because we don't have the data, but I will suggest that talk is likely very expensive. I imagine making statements that go against the grain of nearly 50% of voters in the general election isn't the best for business.
Apple is an American company, founded and based in America. Also where the CEO lives. Thus where most of the talk will be centered around. It would be a little rude for an American company to comment on say, China. Or for a British company to comment about American politics. Or a Canadian one about Mexico.Exactly, lots of places in the world so much worse than US and Tim is so silent on those (while their products are being sold there in large quantities and they have settlements (stores etc.) there).
Build great products. Shut up. Stay out of it. This goes for all causes, liberal or conservative. As a corporation, there is no reason to alienate potential buyers on either side of the aisle.
Here we go again. Stick to making consumer products.![]()
