Funny how Apple is so quick to speak on political issues, but silent on even acknowledging their products MANY shortcomings.....
That's an astute observation..... you definitely have a point there.

It's getting tiresome to keep hearing Tim rail against every little real or perceived injustice when there's so many other pressing issues Apple needs to deal with.

Proof please.

Here it is, they also claim their findings will be released in the coming months. This should be no surprise, the democrats want illegals to be legalized citizens to grow their voter base. Democrats are infamously known for bussing people around to vote in various locations, voting in place of dead people, stuffing ballots, etc... Republicans tend to do less of this but nobody is saying they don't do it at all. There are videos of people going into voting locations and being allowed to vote as a fraudulent identity.

Looking at the presidential election is looking at the small picture. If you step back, you will see that Americans voted Republicans into the house, the senate and almost 2/3s of the governerships.

The American people handed the keys to kingdom to the Republicans. Except they handed the keys to the wrong kind of Republicans - Tea Party nutjobs and Trumpeters. Basically, the country is now being run by anti-education, anti-science, anti-intellectuals.
Yeah, but that still doesn't tell the whole story because 50% of Americans didn't vote.

With the election stats I would say it's erroneous to say that the vast majority of Americans didn't.
There are millions of conservatives. Most just don't yell, scream and burn things down.
There are millions of liberals too...your point?

Usually evidence comes from a good source. And usually involves actual evidence.
[doublepost=1487834125][/doublepost]
Oh I just did, sorry.
Again, that's not evidence. You backed up an unfounded opinion with another unfounded opinion.

Yeah, but that still doesn't tell the whole story because 50% of Americans didn't vote.

This doesn't matter at all. There is a simple saying that is often repeated in political circles; "If you show up, you win". Meaning you play the game according to the rules and get 50%+1, you will own.

Trump won states that Obama won two terms in a row. Some states and counties that went from Obama to Trump, have been voting democrat for decades.

You probably didn't know that.

Yeah, still waiting on that voter fraud evidence you were going to provide.

Really? Everyone is getting all worked up over where someone is allowed to pee? Apple wants to establish themselves as an authority on where people want to drop a deuce?

Most stores I visit seem to have a "family" restroom where anyone can stroll in and lock the door behind themselves - then stand, sit, or turn handsprings while they do their business in private. I, for one, require my children to use said restroom as it guarantees their privacy.

Apple - Tim Cook, really - ought to focus on why my year-old iPhone screen is losing its sense of touch. Apple should concern itself as to why it has the most expensive TV device with an infuriating interface. Tim Cook should spend less time worrying and making "brave" statements about how I choose to go whiz, and focus on why my "current" Mac Pro is halfway to being considered "obselete" by Apple itself.

How I do my "business" is none of Apple's business. However, how Apple does business is certainly my business as a shareholder.

Yeah, it's typical liberal denial.

"I didn't go to vote but I am not okay with what was decided."

Not voting is the same as supporting the outcome.

The reality is, everyone who voted for Trump plus everyone who didn't vote wanted this outcome.
Logical fallacy. That would imply that those who did not vote knew that Trump was going to win, so they didn't vote. The reality is, by not voting, they neither supported Trump nor Hillary. There is no logical conclusion where a non-vote is a vote for either candidate. Your argument is severely flawed.

All you can say is "25% of Americans voted for trump." That's it.

Here it is, they also claim their findings will be released in the coming months

They've been claiming that for weeks and weeks. Their "evidence" is always just around the riverbend, but we never quite get there. If they have evidence that they can make the claim, then let's see it...now. You really think elections that are monitored by both parties wouldn't notice 3 million fraudulent votes? Really?

Trump said he sent investigators to Hawaii too. Do you believe everything that people who seek attention tell you?

Corporations have a lot of influence over elections and policy. Anyone who voted for Trump should know this. The GOP and their constituents all want less regulation and more influence right? Lets not forget it was ruled corporations are people too. If Apple Corporation were a person maybe it would be transgender...

I'm curious why you don't have that same opinion regarding the administration? Do you think Trump is an authority on where you "drop a deuce"? I see no evidence here that you care about that.

Oh look, stupid pathetic people who think they are all high and mighty because they identify as whatever stupid gender they can come up with.

No, screw all this transgender protection crap. If you want to use a bathroom for the other gender, feel free to do it but accept any consequences that come with them. If you want to call yourself whatever gender you want or want people to use whatever pronouns you want, you can do that, but it's none of our business if they don't want to comply. Live in your fantasy world, but don't expect us to live in your fantasy world.

Also Apple should build new Macs instead of posting PC (no pun intended) **** like this.

Again, that's not evidence. You backed up an unfounded opinion with another unfounded opinion.

This is where reading comprehension must've been a problem for you.

I originally said this

One can also make the argument that the largest voter fraud organization in America claimed 3 million votes were fraudulent.

And you wanted evidence that they claimed that, I gave it to you.

I also told you that their findings would be released in the coming months, as they've said.

I really don't know how much more you need me to solidify my own words. I won't say something for the sake of making it up to prove you wrong.

And I'd also like to state that you thinking that you have successfully refuted the notion that "Americans want Trump" has been debunked, it is not clear and by now, you know it.

Uh, no we didn't. Trump lost the popular vote. He won on the technicality of the Electoral College, not because most people wanted him.
Ah, yes, that "technicality" called the Constitution. You know - that thing that keeps the rest of the country from having to follow every imaginative, ridiculous idea that Kalifornia dreams up and tries to force down the rest of the country's throat.

Please vote for CalExit. Trust me, if we could, the rest of us would likely vote for CalExit as well.

Nope. The education of students...all students, is everyone's responsibility to speak up about. They are our future.

If Trump can comment on Apple products (which he did) then I see no reason why Apple cannot do the reverse.
Curious as to what sort of education a child could receive in a public bathroom that you and Tim are so concerned about.

I feel really sad when I read some of the posts here.
As the partner of a Transgendered Woman I know at first hand the bigotry of some people towards people like her.

She has even been threatened with being outed as a MALE Paedo despite her having had that part of her body removed almost 20 years ago. That can't be right. The threat of her being arrested for not having an ID that corresponds to the one given to her at Birth (the toilet law conundrum) and thrown into a MALE Holding cell is enough to make her never want to set foot in her country of birth again (She's from Nebraska).
Just try to imagine for a moment you were her and it happened to you?

Well done Tim and Apple for standing up to the neanderthals in Politics.
