I think one big difference here is we are talking about children in school, not adults. I seriously doubt any of these school children have undergone full sex change operations. I would doubt any doctors would cut a penis off a 13 year old boy, or give massive amounts of male hormones to girls and remove any breasts. These are children with all the original equipment they were born with. Your picture is of adults 2 or 3 times or more the age of these school children.
So what you are saying is that a 14 year old "boy" with a penis, who identifies as a girl, should shower with other 14 year girls in a public school? And that if these other 14 year old girls or their parents don't like it.... well too bad!

Penis's should shower with penis's and vagina's with vagina's. Once you have undergone a full sex change, then it's a different matter, but this certainly what is going on with school children.
I would think that back when I was a kid, many of the boys would have claimed they identified as girls just to go shower with the girls!

It's not that simple. In a biological sense, you would be incorrect to say that everyone is born clearly male or female. In a social/cultural sense, you would be incorrect to say that our ideas of male/female gender entirely conform with the "natural." In a psychological sense, you'd be wrong to say that everyone feels the same way. Finally, in a moral sense, you'd be incorrect to say that forcing a trans woman who looks female to use the men's bathroom is the "right thing to do." (Oh, one more: in a statistical sense, you'd be wrong to claim that trans people pose a threat to their co-bathroom users. There is just no basis in crime statistics, or logic, for that dumb argument.)

But that's irrelevant. I never said I wanted a direct popular vote. I said the current system is not sustainable, because educated, highly populated states like NY and California will not stand by forever while the podunk states elect semi-literate fools like GWB and Trump to run the country, using their outsized votes.
There are plenty of potential ways to fix the electoral college without resorting to "the popular vote" (and it WILL be altered at some point in the next 50 years, I guarantee it.)
None of the other presidents in my lifetime were a corrupt pathological liar or a mentally ill narcissist either. Apples to oranges.

It's not just CA and NY. The greatest percentage of GDP comes from blue states. If it weren't for Texas, the red states would contribute less than 20% of the country's entire GDP.

To be fair, this is the absolute best case scenario for a woman transforming into a man, which is why he is featured on the front of a bunch of magazines. Most people are far less successful in the transformation because they aren't willing to or can't afford all of the surgeries, medications, and hard work required to do this. I had a trans professor in college and the first thing I thought the second I laid eyes on the professor was "whoa, that's a dude in a dress!" I was right. Also, living near San Francisco I see my fair share of transgender people, and the fact that I recognize them as transgender means they aren't doing a very good job of disguising their birth gender.
Am I the only one who thinks that pumping mentally ill people full of hormones and mutilating their genitals instead of getting them some real help is just a little bit cruel?
