Apple sports live activities notifications

Great! Always good for others to give Apple feedback when things are broken.
 
FYI, I’m watching the Tampa Bay/LA Kings game and I am getting audible and haptic notifications on goals and beginning and ending of periods. Tampa Bay is selected as a favorite for me in the NHL.

Interesting. I had a few games followed last night and did not get the audible or haptic notifications for goals… only period ends and start of the games. Well let’s hope this is a start of Apple addressing the issue. Good luck to the Bolts!
 
Well no joy here. Following VAN vs NYI and no audible haptics for score changes. Just for sh@ts and giggles I restarted my iPhone and ultra 2 watch with the same result. Guess I’ll drop yet another feedback report to Apple. Very disappointed
 
Last night for the Tampa/Blues game, the haptic and audible notifications worked on my 17P and watch series 10 for goals, beginning of the period and the end of the period, although the end of period notifications was late and more like a start of the period notification. Maybe the reports are working. And maybe the notifications are limited to favorite teams? No idea. Just spit balling here. I may try to set another favorite team tonight and see what happens.

Well my favorite played last night and all I got for audible notifications was the starting soon, and end of periods. Nothing for scoring. I am gonna try taking my Ultra 2 watch off for tonight’s games. I’ve sent feedback 5 more times with no response.

Hope things work for you. I assume the Bolts is your team? In fact iOS 26 has been a disaster for the Sports app.

Something of an observation… when an audible notification happens on the Sports app the Dynamic Island expands with the notification like period end or NFL games scoring. Hockey games when a score happens it never expands, just the score updates. But it does expand and gives an audible notification for period end.
 
Well for me it’s still broke; no audible notifications for any nhl hockey games. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
 
Currently trying Apple Sports for Bundesliga, and while live activities work nicely, it is weird that games are unsubscribed automatically when they start.
 
Update: don’t know if the audible notifications for scoring is fixed, but tonight two games I followed worked like before. I sure hope whatever the issues were it’s finally fixed.
 
Is anybody else using Apple Sports with MLB spring training games?

I’ve tried everything including reinstalling the app, switching every related setting off and on — but no matter what I do, Live Activities for games will not auto launch.

Spring training is why it won’t auto launch nor do live activities with score notifications

There's no way to override that? I ask assuming you've tried, too. It's not clear within the app that that's why it isn't working. I wish Apple would be better about communicating things like this.

I still get vibrations for runs scored on the manually launched spring training Live Activities.

Not that I have found. Good to see they do notifications for manually following a game.
 
Since I've updated to 23.3.1 automatic start for Live Activities for my teams is broken again.

Anyone else having this issue again?

I’m on 26.3.1 and auto start of my favorite hockey team worked fine along with audible score notifications.

Live activity showing. But after an inning it get stuck. Innings behind. No play by play working.
Tried a bunch of restarting/toggling already.

Yes. Saw this exact behavior today. Hope it’s not iOS 26.4.1 reintroducing bugs for Live Activities.
 
A new version has spawned. I noticed that live notifications have been improved recently. Any experiences with today's update yet?
