Yeah definietly the same situation as a company worth trillions of dolllars releasing a pre-recorded video.
Next Friday if tradition remains the same for release.
The guy whose job it is to push the ‘play’ button in QuickTime Pro 7 might get stuck in a broken down car.
Why? People know it's gonna sell anyway. Even if they would put a turd in the box with phone functionality people would line up for it.
I know you're being facetious but its funny anyway cause in all likelihood they have the videos scheduled to launch at a certain time so nobody will actually be pushing any buttons.
Looking forward to seeing Tim Cook's trademark knee-bend every few seconds to emphasize certain words.
And actually saves them money because some people don't know which things are being updated today, so they'd buy stuff and then would want to return the "outdated" models.

Yeah they used to be live, they stopped doing them live when covid rolled around and they never went back to live.
They stopped being live with the pandemic.
And now they got used to do all those fancy transitions in post so I don’t think they are going back to live.
I've long since stopped getting excited for the event. Changes have been so tiny with each generation. My 13PM still does everything I need without issue.
The main reason why I will follow this event is to see how many of the rumors were actually true. And if there is some surprise feature that gets added that everyone missed. We shall see. Unless I am blown away, still will stick with the 13 for one more year.
