Now it make sense why Apple yanked all the protective films out of their stores--I doubt one would stay on the iPhone 4 at all! I guess the bumper is the best bet, especially because we wouldn't want to damage the antennas and make our service any worse....

As far as service, just use your iPhone for data and you have no issues. I never get dropped calls because I rarely make phone calls

Poster is in Melbourne. Australia. I'm in Perth = middle of the day here (2.45 pm Tuesday).
Not unreasonable to expect the AU Apple Store to be available, especially since we aren't expecting to be able to preorder any time soon. Are we??
Maybe I'll just keep an eye on the Aussie Apple Store website....

but isnt typing harder on a iphone then a blackberry? can you send voicenotes on an iphone? blackberry is much better for texting and iphone is more of a showy phone for apps.

what exactly does this mean? Does the money get withdrawn from your account?

In other words, regardless of how much money is in your account both now and when the money is charged, the same amount gets pulled when the phone is shipped?

+1 to baja2k the iphone keyboard memorizes the common mistakes your fingers make and accommodates for them. + 9,000 to the iphone's power level.
