Apple Store Down Ahead of iPhone 4 Pre-Orders

That's what i was thinking since that would make it 12am in the west. Plus, im getting sleepy so they need to hurry up so I can give them my money and then get to bed.
I'm going for a white one, as well! I think the bumpers will look better on them, and I hate seeing fingerprints.
I'd like to enjoy the phone rather than spend 98% of the time cleaning it.
I may get the bumper case for drops, but honestly now that the front and back are glass....it should stay pretty shiny.

Is it just my school, or is the discount (15% for me) NOT valid on the unlimited iPhone voice plan? As in, is it essentially worthless to pay for the premier account if you want umlimited voice (and thus the discount would only applie to the data plan).

I get a 20% discount through my employer but AT&T will not apply that to an unlimited plan. It's an AT&T rule as far as I know.

Same here, except sometimes I press ⌘T and a new tab will pop up. Then I say a few choice words.

Now it make sense why Apple yanked all the protective films out of their stores--I doubt one would stay on the iPhone 4 at all! I guess the bumper is the best bet, especially because we wouldn't want to damage the antennas and make our service any worse....
I'm going to be up till about 3AM PDT. Hopefully preorders start by then.
I'm on a family plan though, so not sure on how much an iPhone is going to cost and all, and even if the family plan has to be upgraded or something.
Yeah, I am calling it a night little after 3 also. I usually work nights, but am in training this week so I have to get up with the normal people in the A.M.
(= Yeah, super cheap data will be missed! I'll end up paying about the same with AT&T because my company has a 23% discount on recurring voice and data rates but not with TMo. I'm more so super scared at what kind of customer service AT&T has...
been with them since 05.... havent had any problems plus im grandfathered in on the unlimited so ill never leave
FWIW, I've never needed AT&T support for the last 2 years of iPhone ownership. Lotsa dropped calls, though.

Poster is in Melbourne. Australia. I'm in Perth = middle of the day here (2.45 pm Tuesday).
Not unreasonable to expect the AU Apple Store to be available, especially since we aren't expecting to be able to preorder any time soon. Are we??
Maybe I'll just keep an eye on the Aussie Apple Store website....
