It means, if you do not have the money in your account to cover it tonight, as I suspect is the case, since you are asking this question.....

You cannot order it tonight.

Ok, I re-read my post and this came out really in-sensitive.

I apologize.

Yes, I'm kidding... just trying to pass the time until the store is back online...

Well, it did give me a laugh. Thanks for making my night a tad bit better!

If you could do me a solid and let pre-ordering start already, I'd appreciate that. Please and thank you.

Yip yip hooray!!!! The Apple Store is back online and ready to accept our orders!

if it's any useful to anyone:

Mac Life reports the store may go live at 1 AM Pacific/ 4 AM Eastern time. This does make sense given how early Apple went into update mode. For example when Apple put iPad up for pre-order in the U.S., the store went down around 3 AM and returned at 5:30 AM. In comparison, the store going down at 10 PM Pacific tonight and going live at 1 AM Pacific does make sense.

lol that would be great.

We are so nuts guys. I have my credit card sitting right here in front of me ready to go too. LOL

So I take it all of you are waiting to pre-order to have it shipped to your door, rather than reserving one to pickup at an Apple retail store? I mean, the page is for the online store, which I assume is only for products that are shipped to you, right?

No, cuz you will probably be my first face time call received and it will be of your ass or something :)

I don't even have an iPhone right now. I sold mine on eBay last Sunday night hoping Steve would say, pre-orders today, available this Friday. Whoops. I've been forwarding my AT&T calls to my Sprint Blackberry. My life sucks right now.

AT&T told me if I put the SIM card in another phone I'd lose the Unlimited Data. I wasn't about to do that. So forward the calls, and that's it for now.
