It means, if you do not have the money in your account to cover it tonight, as I suspect is the case, since you are asking this question.....

You cannot order it tonight.

When you use the card, the merchant does a check to see if the money is there. Let's say you spend $199 but you only have $150 in the account...you might trigger an overdraft protection.

I only use credit cards when shopping online, so Apple will check to make sure I have the credit to pay the amount, but it won't post to the account until the day it ships.

It's really confusing, but they have to make sure your account has the money tonight.
 
I bet the system admin at Apple is just dropping a huge deuce right now and laughing the whole time. Well, maybe not so much laughing, but thoroughly enjoying himself, at our expense.
 
It would be funny, to be the person that gets to submit the changes to the store to make it live :)

Especially if they are following our conversation.
 
If it's not up by 1AM PST then it won't be coming up until 5AM PST or later. 1 more hour and then I am getting at least SOME sleep.
