You mean like....listing all your Apple (or other) products in your sig?

I don't explicitly brag about me owning them in the body of nearly every post I make. I think there is a difference between having what I own in my signature and practically saying "I don't give a ****, just buy the phone and make me money." It's common practice on this forum to have what you own in your sig, and they are helpful when I make threads asking for software help since I figure it would be useful for people to know what my system configuration is.

i have a blackberry now. someone convince me why i should get the iphone. the only reason i am still on my blackberry is because of black berry messanger or BBM. please help. i know the iphone is better but all my friends have bbm and its free.

If I can say one thing it would be this:

Once you get an iPhone, you will wonder what took you so long to switch. You'll never want another phone again. The usability and apps for the phone are just that good.

No BS. Just my honest opinion.

(As a side note: I have also owned a Google Nexus One [on Android] and sold it 3 months later)

I concur...for sure.

but isnt typing harder on a iphone then a blackberry? can you send voicenotes on an iphone? blackberry is much better for texting and iphone is more of a showy phone for apps.

How do people in the UK think this will work? We haven't even had tariff announcements from most networks and all the websites are still saying to register for interest. Only the Apple Store UK seem to be pepping for pre-ordering.

AT&T's site briefly allowed pre-orders but is now down

Agreed. A coworker just bought a HTC Hero and he has had more problems (battery, random reboots, signal) than I can count. He has had it for only a few days and the only reason I believe he still likes it is because he has never owned an iPhone.

No. Typing takes about 2 weeks to get used to. I can type super fast and I never miss a beat. Why do you think all of the phones are switching to soft keyboards now? Because once you learn how to use them, you'll be fine.

Yes, you can do voice notes.

With the amount of apps on the iPhone, I can promise you that you will have WAY more functionality out of your iPhone than you would a Blackberry.

And just for the record, I don't own an iPhone to show it off. I own an iPhone because I think it's the best phone on the market, hands down.
