Guys! I tried ordering through apple and got reservation number. However...I just tried through ATT again and worked within 30 seconds!! Paid for it, got my confirm and all!yeay
Will you be charged twice? Once for Apple, and once for ATT?
I work in retail, in apparel, I think if I see someone walk out of a fitting room and they left it completely trashed I will go off after tonight. Maybe I will ask them to put me in the back working on something today.

I don't think so because the one from apple is just a reservation and i didn't give credit card authorization. my understanding you're supposed to be able later confirm the order from apple and give your cc info...so i think (hope) the apple reservation will just die bc they saw i ordered through att haha...
Ditto. I go to law school and coincidentally, the professor canceled class tomorrow. I secretly think he's probably staying up waiting for the iPhone 4S as well.
Got my order confirmation emails from AT&T premier, and then got follow up emails saying my credit card could not be processed and that I have to call them in order to process the order within 7 days or it will be cancelled

Same issue. It was going to my parent's in IN. I ordered and then went to my Apple Account on the store and edited the shipping. we'll see if that sticks i just got an email saying my shipping info was updated.
Yes. I think it's a notification though, not an error. Clicking Continue took me to back to the Apple store page. So I 'guess' that those of us with that message have an order. I don't know and I give up.

Maybe they are counting reservations as orders? I hope so! Att tells me I have an error now (not the P1234 i was getting before.)
I do not think this is the case. I have nothing showing in order history and have received no emails. Of course you can't call because all the recording says is that they have too many calls..won't even put you in a queue
I tried so many times that I take it my order did go through at some point -- maybe. I hope that's what that message means.
On Apple, I got through several times to the final page only to have the order not processed.
After the site came back up, I went through the "We have a phone for you...enter your Apple ID" steps 2-3x at least, only to receive an error.
Next, I tried again and got this "Order Exists" screen. So that's why I think it's a notification, and that in the total mess that is this ordering process, one of the orders went through.
