Ordered a second one for pickup today, going to return the one that shows up on monday/tuesday. If the plex app is available today I will take some pics/video and post them here since I know a lot of us have been itching for a plex app.

I placed an order on B&H's web site for delivery on 11/10. While I can wait until then, I'm tempted to pick up a ATV4 if BB stores are going to have stock of them today.

Of course the BB website says in store pickup is "coming soon"

Yes, you can! I just saw the Apple Pay logo on the card swipe terminal at my BB store in Clearwater, FL.

It'd be really nice if the Apple TV could function as an Airport Express too. I've got mine connected to ethernet so the wifi isn't doing much right now. It'd be great to have it function to extend my current wireless network.

Highly doubt it. If it is chances are it'd be like $10 off. Rarely do they do newly released items on any kind of a discount and Apple TVs have never been on Black Friday discount before.

Most likely not a monetary discount off the device from anyone. There may be gift cards from other retailers when you buy the device. For example if you buy from BB and then they give a $10 BB gift card.

I just bought Apple TV again for in store pick up today. My pre order from Monday morning will be returned when it arrives next week. I'm not complaining, just saying it's Apple losing money on shipping and they deserve it.

Just walked into the Best Buy near Burlington, Vermont and they had absolutely no Gen 4 AppleTVs available. The guy at the online pickup desk said they had none come in and he had no idea when they would get any. Awesome.

Anyone know why you can't order it in best buys website right now? I'd rather get it from them for the points and use PayPal through their website but the buy now button is a coming soon button. If they're available in store I don't see why they won't let you buy on line and pickup in store like Apple is.

Yes, you do. Apple updated it last night. Flashing with the latest firmware makes the app store appear.

Ordered one for pick up at my local Apple Store later today and arranged to cancel the one I ordered earlier in the week. As its in a PFS state, cancellation is not permitted right now but if you call Apple they will start the process, send a notification email that you are cancelling and then once it ships, you get a link or url to go print a return label - seems easy enough!

I just now bought one directly from Apple with in-store pickup today. Took all of 15 seconds.
