I ordered the height adjustable + nano-texture ASD as soon as ordering opened up on March 8 after the product announcement. Delivery date has been March 31 to April 7. It is March 31 today and the status is still "processing".

The bummer is I got the Mac Studio Ultra (that I ordered at the same time) a couple of days ago. It is currently connected to a slightly-better-than-VGA display that I had lying around.

Has anyone who ordered the above combination of features for the ASD received theirs yet?
Same Here. Deliverydate is March 30 - April 6. also still processing

From the specs:
  • One upstream Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port for host (with 96W host charging)
  • Three downstream USB-C ports (up to 10Gb/s) for connecting peripherals, storage, and networking
So I'd assume connecting a Thunderbolt drive wouldn't work (not at full-speed anyway) i'm not sure if a Thunderbolt drive would work at a reduced speed over USB-C.
Correct. I just got my display two days ago. The 3 additional ports on the hub are not only just USB-C, but they won't work with the Mac adaptors. I tried an Apple Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt/USB-C and an Apple Firewire 2 to Thunderbolt/USB-C, and neither of them work. So much for older (and fully functional) backup drives. Apple Tech support said that the adaptors are Thunderbolt NOT USB-C even though they are sold that way. The only thing that works in my USB scanner. So basically the ports on the monitor hub and only good for USB devices.

This is expected behavior. Outside of a few/recent Thunderbolt enclosures, most TB accessories don't support backwards compatibility with the standard USB 3.1 Gen 2 protocol, even if they use a USB-C connector.

Please do let me know how you find the nano-texture display!

I spent about two hours this afternoon on the phone with Apple engineering trying to solve the the display buzz. I narrowed it down to electrical noise back feeding to my house from my AC compressor outside. The studio display has inadequate noise filtering in the power supply, allowing the high-frequency signal from the AC compressor to get through to the display circuitry. This high frequency noise somehow interferes with the PWM signal for the display fans, creating an audible beat frequency when the AC is on. Apple was very interested in testing almost every permutation of computer, wall socket, UPS, etc - none of them worked. I even recorded the sound and sent it off to Apple for them to diagnose. Apple was not confident a replacement display would solve the noise crosstalk issue so unfortunately I need to return the studio display :(

Picked up 2 stands on Etsy and they're perfection for a non height adjustable studio display!

Ordered the Studio Display -- Height Adjustable with Nano Texture -- on March 8th after the keynote.

Apple.com has said "processing" since then, with an expected delivery date April 6-12. '

No update since... killing me here!

They're sold out everywhere in LA -- I would cancel the order and just go buy one, but haven't found any in stock. Does anyone else have luck with in-store purchase in the LA area?

I just finished setting up my Mac Studio with a pair of LG 32UN880-B Ultrafine 4K. While they look great, they are not at the same level of my 2017 iMac 5K so after a few hours playing with them, I decided to place an order for a pair of Apple Studio Displays with VESA mount. One of the LGs will stay and the other, which is still in the return window, is going back to Costco. Don't get me wrong, the LG 32UN880-B is an amazing display. I had one paired with my 27" iMac 5K for a year and really liked it but I was using it as a secondary display. My main display was the iMac 5K and now that it's not in front of me anymore, I really miss it. Also, these 32" displays are just too big for me as I sit less than 2.5 ft from the screens. This is one of those cases where bigger is not better.

So now I'm at the very end of the cue with delivery scheduled for May 27 - June 13.

How does the camera look on 15.4.1?
There wasn't an Update for the Studio Display (yet)
Yes there was, I picked up my SD on release day from the apple store. Within 2 days software update showed an update for the Studio Display which I installed.
Have a look at the version of the software of your Studio Display. What does it say? There hasn't been a 15.4.1 version yet..

Here is my setup, still need to finish cable management. I changed everything in my home office this year. Went with clean, black and white. There was a lot of browns in here before.

I posted a long note about my transition from 20 years of owning iMacs....to now going forward with the separate display and computer lifestyle. We will see how it goes. Running M1 MBA right now. I will upgrade to M2 Max MBP or Studio when they come out, still deciding between full desktop or "desktop laptop".

My bad, I hadn't read the quoted posted. So no, 15.4.1 hasn't been released, but 15.4 was released on 14 March, 4 days before I picked up my SD and I did install that update.

Wow. That’s too bad. Hopefully Apple engineers look into this and make changes to the noise filtering.

My iMac power supply made a terrible noise when connected to an inexpensive UPS on battery power. Higher-quality UPS devices (with "sine wave" output) provide much better-quality power and don't have the same issue. You might consider using a UPS or power conditioner if your wall power is especially dirty.
