For everyone saying bigger won't sell, tell me then what has happened to the cell phone industry?
I've ben begging for this since DAY ONE!

Well, I really don't care what they say, they aren't going to get something that is larger with retina display to be thinner and lighter. I guess the only way that is possible is if Intel's next chips really increase battery life the way they say they will.
The fact that both the S4 and Tab have the word "SAMSUNG" written on the front of the device is a bit of a giveaway unless of course you're blind.
What if he can't read? I bet you'd feel real bad if you found out you were making fun of his horrible illiteracy problem.
I just want an iPad for watching movies in my sofa with my girlfriend, wide screen, 4K resolution, feather light and easy to either hold or put in lap, also some option for watching in bed...
We have that now, it's called a TV.![]()
What Steve said and what he actually did were not always the same. The seeds of the iPad Mini were sprung before Steve sadly passed away. I think if it seemed to make sound business sense to build it he would have agreed. In the end if they think they can sell it in sufficiently large numbers to make it a success then Apple will build a large iPad. Why wouldn't they.
Niche 13" iPad will be a godsend to all pro users
Can't wait...
If you guys think Apple will make an iOS device for Pro users I just don't know what to tell you. iOS devices are meant to sell tens of millions of units, a 'Pro' (and I hate the Pro attached to Apple products) would not sell to many people, as the overwhelmingly vast majority of consumers don't use their computers for 'Pro' purposes.
Moreover, what are you going to do with it being a Pro? It won't have anywhere near the computing power of normal Pro computers, what do you think it will have an A12 chip?
It'll probably be about 1.3 pounds. Slightly heavier than the Air, a little lighter than the iPad 3/4.
Could you name a few?
Tbh, the rename of iPad to iPad air should have told us this was coming.
Mac Mini
MacBook Air
MacBook Pro

You must be high lol. 7.9 to 9.7 = 1.8; 9.7 to 12.9 = 3.2 iPad mini with retina is 0.73lb iPad air is 1lb. It would easily be 1.7-2lb. Extremely heavy and cumbersome.

iPhone 5C (yeah, that was a success... :roll eyes: ), iPad Mini, iPad Pro, etc....
Cook needs to stop expanding the lineup. Seriously.
The Maxi iPad!
And the Surface Pro 2 in You Tube videos certainly seems capable of keeping up with the supposedly more powerful Razer Edge gaming Windows 8 tablet/ PC. So Apple could certainly get a powerful and efficient Intel chip in it.

While people say either Surface is not worthy of tablet or ultra book competition.
How is this, which if it's like the current iPad, is too limited even compared to the Surface, supposed to compete in the ultra book market?
There's no point in carrying around a 12,9 inch tablet when you can buy a macbook air in both 11 and 13 inch...

If it can run osx as well I will get one.
