Well I sure hope it doesn't burn your legs like my MB and MBP do for starters
However I do continue...
Also do you think a Car Charger will appear?
Will it work seamlessly with Airport Express and TV?

What is the etiquette for carrying one of these, sow a large pocket on your jacket or carry a manbag/case
Would it work with M$ Exchange Server?
I bought it for $600 new. The performance is not mediocre, it's a 1.86ghz Duo Core 2 low voltage processor with 4gb of RAM. It would run circles around the iPad and is comparable in performance to a 2.0ghz Macbook Pro.
Touch capability is overrated on a screen size larger than 10", it's really only handy for things you can pull out of your pocket. Try to stuff the iPad into your pocket.
And I have a real keyboard and 2 USB ports plus WLAN.
Go cry, fanboy.
I get the email issue, but why can't you combine your apps? If you've got two separate App Store accounts, just authorize one computer for both accounts, download all of your apps and then sync it. All of your apps will show up.
Darn, looks like I'll have to wait for the next revision of the iPad before I shell out my cash. Was really looking forward to a decent device to keep me entertained while on the bus. But I just realized the lack of multi-tasking is a deal breaker for me.
I'll wait for a model where I can listen to music and surf the web at the same time. Or perhaps say... download a movie while I'm typing an email.
What a bunch of moronic cry babies!!! WTF were you thinking a portable computer was going to do???????????????????? It's a computer!! It does what computers do. Good lord I seriously can't believe the stupid responses to this device.

It's also not designed to replace a laptop or desktop. The strongest I see it is for someone with a desktop who wants something portable for travel that can do web/docs/e-mail/media.
My wife and I each have our laptops and iPhones. The phones are for calls, instant communication (email) and quick-checks of the web. But it is not good for browsing. The laptops are for doing serious work; when in the office hooked up to a cinema display. But not good for talking on. Nor for browsing the web and watching movies. My macbook is great for browsing the web and watching movies. It has a 13" display, too. So the iPad hits that middle area for sitting down and browsing the web or watching videos without being tied to a TV.I don't have any problems sitting down, lying down, standing up, etc. while doing this with my macbook, and I'm not tied to a TV (And for that we have ourTV) Also good for the work she does in the field, where she could use iWork instead of having to plug in her Air. Why would she have to plug in her air, doesn't it have a battery, too?
Nail. On. Head.
Multi-tasking will come - it's inevitable. I'm sure Apple just want to do it in a way that it doesn't detract from the current simplicity and user experience. This is just the start - the o/s will evolve as the iphone has.
I had a look over that page, and it's exactly the point: the idea is a very nice one, but it's not "KISS-compliant". Also, the software is ********. Lagging, many artifacts, and and interface which, although I'm getting used to many things quite easy, still does not let me focus on what I want to do.You are missing the point. That screen on that lenovo "pops" out.

The screen by itself is a separate computer. If you want to sit on the couch with just the screen you can pop it out and just sit on the couch with just the screen.
The complexity problem it has is that when you do that you get a whole different OS and interface. That may not be bad if they are skewed to the tasks you are about to do. However, it is kind of a dramatic mode switch when plug back in and Windows pops up. ( Not sure also how well they worked out the synch issues).
Gets even more hectic if you were to have multiple kids using one iPad. They'd definitely need their own profiles.
The screen is removable from the Lenovo Ideapad U1. The screen itself has a battery, ARM based processor, and runs a multitouch Linux. It also synchs content from the notebook/keyboard dock.I don't get it.

Would have been great if Apple had had the foresight to make one. I absolutely adore my HP mini netbook, But I must admit I'd probably sell it in a heartbeat if Apple could make a netbook. So a netbook then.
