I saw a similar film just this week with Christian Slater for HP as “The Wolf.” These are basically commercials but of course a ton of posters jump all over it as if it’s serious. It’s just like in South Park when the townspeople have some ridiculous complaint and stand around going “RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!!” This obviously doesn’t have ANYTHING TO DO with Apple’s media strategy. Calm down.

LOL Dwayne gets it (including nice residual from Apple too & more fruit stuff.) :p

This is an absolutely ridiculous slice of original content and I'd be willing to take a peek, because I know Dwayne can laugh at himself. And because it's just so over the top.

"Hey Siri can you smell what the Rock is cooking!"

"Yes, Dwayne. It's that alien in the poster. Would you like suggestions for additional recipes?"

(I'll log off now.)

I'm not interested in seeing this, but I like Dwayne Johnson. He is a decent actor and a legitimate tough guy.

In what movie?
A decent actor is Johny deep, not ****ing Dwayne Johnson.
I mean I respect the man, he achieved more than most of people so he is special but this stupid idea becomes even more prosperous with him in the poster...

Hey guys, did anyone notice the iPhone on Dwayne’s hand? The rounded edge is narrower, and the Apple logo looks to be silver. Is it possible they leaked the new iPhone in this poster?

If you haven't seen "Faster" with Dwayne, Watch it. It might change your mind. I really like him in his more serious roles.

I thought Battlefield Earth was a religious story about a certain religious faith?

Yes, and that religious cult is called Scientology founded by Ron Hubbard. Seems like Apple is turning into that.

Dear Apple,

Please fire Eddy Cue.

That is all.

Actually, to make it worse, Cook greenlighted it. The buck stops where he's at. I'm shocked and not so shocked he OKed it.

Apple is now run by, as the Rock said it famously, candya$$e$.

And it's on YouTube, not Apple Music. I wonder what Apple's content strategy is?

youtube must have paid for the exclusivity ;)

Yes, Eddy Cue, who is in charge of Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Pay, iTunes, iCloud, etc.

apparently he is the guy who tried to argue to them the iphone needed a blackberry-like keyboard and jobs had to shut him down.

Really? Very strange....

He is ok at presenting things not at creating them.
