Either Apple are about to re sculpt your whole world with just 24 hours notice, or it's a pun on backing up stuff.

Also, is the grammar wrong in that title? I'm no good with zee grammarz, but shouldn't that 2nd line follow from a semi colon or a comma, but not a full stop since "That you'll never forget" isn’t a correct sentence?

No, you're completely right. I read a thread on some other site with people predicting that full stop is hugely significant to tomorrow's announcement.

Unfortunately, I'm not joking, I'll see if I can find it...

I know the "iTunes" name is branded at this point but I wonder what are the chances they will change the name? I mean, honestly, iTunes does way too much to still call it "iTunes".

looking at the clues...

Tomorrow is just another day. That you'll never forget.

and the clocks....

could it be a fix for the alarm bug?

in addition to cloud streaming it would be awesome to get even higher sound quality music ...that alone would have me stop choosing between amazon mp3 and itunes

They recently changed the logo, so if they wanted to change the name too they should have done it then.

Apple has purchased Sony, all Sony music available to iPod owners for free. :p

Cloud storage for iTunes would be good, but syncing to iPod needs local storage, updating a 16GB device will be painful.

Maybe TV streaming - through devices like Apple TV would justify the STB.

Scheduled recording of TV programmes streamed into iTunes like an online TiVo service would be compelling. "Never Forget" could refer to season pass style operation.

why wont you forget...because it will be backed up "in the cloud"

I thought this too. But even if they do announce a cloud-based iTunes, i don't think that warrants a special announcement like this. I assume there will be something else to go along with it.

ah, maybe this explains why the movie I rented last night on ATV took 6 hours to download!

my connection was fine, but downloads from apple were **** slow

They might want to test the servers, all those people refreshing at the sametime :)

PS: Up in Belgium too

HMM, maybe it does have something to do with the new Data Center. They are tricking people into performing a load test for them by constantly refreshing. ;)

I agree with whoever said it might be cloud based backup due to the never forget line. It would be nice to have something like that and the backup /Find My iPhone sections of Mobilemee for a much smaller cost or free as more and more competitors offer it for nothing. They could still charge for various additional MobileMe features and it would fit nicely with the stuff a while back about changing the membership level names.
