I don’t think they’re worried about the PR on something that hasn’t been revealed/experienced yet by end-users.

Yeah, but it seems to have been revealed by the upper Managament, and responses were disappointing.
Also they dont seem to have a new USP or anything, at a price point of 3.000¢ this seems like nothing end users would be eager to buy.

This isn’t the 24K Gold Apple Watch or the trash can Mac Pro.

No, its common sense. Since Apple hasnt managed to present an alternative or new UseCase, it will be as underwhelming as other AR/VR Applications. Only with a much higher Price-Point. (At the Management-Event the only UseCase shown was a Facetime Call. Come on...) Also Bloombergs predicts Gaming and common VR/AR Topics for Apples MR headset. In my opinion that wont be enough.

Even if the Hardware delivers, the Software wont.

As with most new Apple products, V1 will have pain points that are usually largely fixed in V2, and by V4 the leaps will be quite apparent.

Phones have improved in the hardware aspect across the board. Hardware iteration is slower and tends to be more stable.

Software is fast and less stable.

Complaints are meaningless.

Guys and girls, this guy says your complaints about unstable software on these forums are meaningless.

Weird comments. 3000$ isn’t the issue. When the iPhone came out it was hugely overpriced. When the watch came out people said it’s too expensive compared to luxury watches etc etc etc. When the iPod came out people said it’s cheaper to buy any other MP3 player, when the AirPods came out, people made fun of it and said it’s too expensive for just headphone with cut off cables blablablablaaaaaaaaaa.

All the same. Every time they were wrong.

And not to forget, there was a time when people proclaimed daily that Apple is about to go into bankruptcy and disappear forever - before it became the most valuable company in the world 🤣
