I've done absolutely everything, restored as new phone, replaced the phone, changed settings. everything. Still can't get more than 5-6 hours of usage and like 10-12 hours of standby.

Disable LTE and you will double your phone life.

Mine works flawlessly so far. What do you mean?

Two things wrong:

1.) No delete song on swipe any more.

2.) On iPad, covers get corrupt over time and show up blank (a few covers a day), only fix is to delete your entire music collection and download again over iTunes match.

Hope they add "turn off all notifications" in 6.1 - this used to be in iOS 4 i believe, but was removed in iOS 5. There are times when I'm looking at a presentation on my iPad during school lectures, but don't want the popup notifications.

Almost impossible to connect to Wifi with my Iphone5, changed back to a 4S with IOS6 and had a couple issues with it too. Never had any problems with IOS5.

Also completely disliked the new App Store layout.

The "bigger" screen on the Iphone5 doesn't bring any help to typing, seriously considering a Galaxy Note 2. That's what I call a bigger screen, lol.

But the "bigger" screen wasn't put to help with typing. It was placed so you can see more content. Personally, I find the additional screen size perfect. I can see all of the content I want without trouble, and still use it with one hand.

The new app store layout is really nice, aside from the optimizations that need doing. The only thing questionable is the little card view for app search, but I personally like it.

The wifi is a bug, and it will likely be fixed in 6.1. Heck, my Galaxy S didn't even have a properly functioning GPS, and never got an update to fix it either.

Go ahead, get a Galaxy Note 2.

Agree. My wife's iPhone 5 drops wifi all the time within 15 ft on our access point.

She's lucky. My aunt's 4S stopped working on wifi at all after iOS6 - Wifi is "off" and greyed out and cannot be switched on. It has been this way since the update and no amount of restoring, rebooting, waving it around etc fixes it. All the other cellular stuff still works.

Ok I'm not into the Steve Jobs joke about if he was there. but I have to say since his death there have been a lot of issues with apple products and updates.

And there were no issues when he was around? Faulty antenna, mobile me launch disaster, iOS 2.0 release with terrible freezing, cracks in the G4 cube computer, discoloration of white macbook keyboard areas....the list can go on for awhile.

Clock

does anyone else have issues where the clock randomly has the wrong time? I have to turn off then back on auto time setting feature to get it to be correct again. This happens several times a day, and if I don't reset the clock I cannot use iMessaging.

I have a VZW iPhone 5 with iOS 6

Options Updates....

Wouldn't it be great if when they come out with an iOS upgrade, that you could pick and select which parts of the upgrade you want to update? For instance, for the iPad, you could select to add Siri to your unit, and then also choose NOT to update your App Store.

Also, to make it even better, if you updated your iOS, and one certain part of it you did not like as much as the earlier version, you would be allowed to downgrade back to that earlier version. As above, you could switch back to the older version of the App Store, and be happy.

:D :D :D :D :D :D

Isn't that the point of the Do Not Disturb feature?

At least with Apple Maps they use updated images and it shows my house which was built in 2008. Google Maps is using an image around 2007 when my house was just a dirt plot. I prefer Apple Maps anyways.

I preferred the four buttons on the Galaxy Note than the one button on the S3. It's too bad their putting the one button on the Note 2.

My fix wishlist:

- MAIL: Swoosh sound before SMTP negotiation bug. Should be *after*.
- MAIL: Exchange not always sending mail on WI-FI. I always have to turn off wi-fi to send exchange mail.
- NOTIFICATIONS: Notification Delay. Sound but nothing on screen after long delay. Strange.
- BATTERY: Dimming display helps a lot, but battery life with normal display level would be nice. I can live with it at 30% brightness though.

None of these were mentioned. Yes, I have sent feedback to apple a number of times.

.

Battery life of my 4S dropped about 10-20% since going from iOS 5 to 6. Restoring didn't help one bit.

The AppStore app is a software design nightmare. GUI, performance and usability from hell.

Maps is still a joke. Tons of messed up POIs around my home and not a single one was corrected since the release. POIs and labels still disappear and reappear randomly in a very inconvenient manner.

Playlist shuffle is borked. When resuming a paused playlist after a few hours, it often doesn't resume from the paused position but repeats a previously played song and then repeats the songs from the playlist in the exact same order. Annoying as hell!

Facebook events are sometimes shown with a wrong date in the calendar. Haven't figured out under which circumstances exactly.

Why is the share screen cluttered with Twitter and Facebook icons if there's no login information in the settings?

At least it's pretty stable. iOS 5 was a crashfest (AppStore and Mail come to mind), but iOS 6 is rock stable so far.

nope, SJ built every product himself to be flawless

fix the map, thats all i got to say or give me a map that exactly knows my location

Dont throw me off by a few kilometres to the left.:mad:

Haven't seen anyone mentioning this:
After taking a photo, and viewing that photo without leaving the camera app (swiping back), shows the photo awfully pixelated!!
If I then exit Camera, open Camera Roll and see it there it's fine, so it's definitely an issue while having the Camera open.
Started happening on my 4S after 6.0, and happens on the 5 as well...

Yes, I have had this also numerous times. IOS 5 and 6.

I've also had a bug where if you move an app into a folder while it is downloading, there will be an icon of the app stuck in the downloading state that is not interactive at all. The real app is in the folder you moved it onto. The only way I've been able to get rid of the "stuck" app, is to restart the phone.

Isn't that the point of the Do Not Disturb feature?

Actually, the "Do Not Disturb" feature turns off notifications only when your device is locked. Alerts, sounds, and banners still come through when your device is unlocked despite "Do Not Disturb".

A "turn off notifications" similar to that from iOS 4 would turn off notifications while your device is unlocked as well.

(This would help a lot during conferences, lectures, etc. where you don't want notifications popping up while device is in use.)

Only current way to do this, is by turning off all the individual notifications one by one for each app (may be very tedious if you have like 50 apps.)

Never once had a wifi issue, then when I updated my iPad to iOS 6 I not longer can connect on secure wifi networks and can't on my iPhone 5 which came with iOS 6

Get your **** together apple

How about 'Turn By Turn' in Maps for Australian users. Looks nice in MOST countries which ALREADY have it.
