People here have forgotten that there is a difference between expressing different views and inciting political violence.

The two things are not, and will never be, the same. Any comments saying they are the same, lose their credibility.

Defund the Thought Police!
This is going too far. I have defended Apple when people attack "Big Tech" for censorship. I do not believe Apple has the right to dictate to Parler what is and is not acceptable points of view to be shared on their platform.
Apple is no different than any of the other big techies. If you do not agree with their point of view, off you go. Does Apple ever threaten to ban Twitter if it doesn’t clean up its act? Of course not because Apple is as liberal as Facebook Twitter and Google. Really, shame on Tim Cook and his censorship police. Whatever happened to where if you didn’t like something you just moved on with life. I consider myself a conservative but do I agree with everything that a conservative may do? Of course not. It’s life. Like I do not agree with everything a liberal may do or say but I also know they have that right.

Over 400 people were arrested in DC alone over a 4-day period this summer. And many of them were beaten with batons, pepper-sprayed, tear-gassed, shoved to the ground, or shot with rubber bullets. It’s getting pretty sad to watch the right concoct tortured arguments to justify their Messiah inciting insurrection against his own government.

You know nothing about me, and what I believe or stand for. What I know is people were applauding their behavior. Politicians were encouraging it. Mayors were denying intervention to stop it. It went on for months. One shouldn’t have to be a crazy right-winger to see that double standard.

You’re proving my point, how do three or four people represent half of America? Are we going to apply these same standards to Harris and Biden? Or is this only an issue when it’s with the party you disagree with?
What does Harris or Biden have to do with the conversation when your point is that you believe it's wrong to label people as Nazis for exhibiting Nazi-like behaviors? If they do the same then yes, I would as well. But get out of here with your straw mans.

The three people I posted about that are elected officials and have the power to shape the laws of this country - if you don't see how they'd represent America then you need to look harder.

I see some of the Trump cult members posting BLM related quotes. Right on schedule. We saw actual domestic terrorists invading the US Capitol all with Trump flags. If you still support Trump after all of this, you are no different.

If that crowd were black or muslim, they would have killed every single one of them.
No blm done far worse and police kneeled for them, no one was hurting anyone at the capital and a few crazy people yes but trump supporters are not like that

Instead, let’s find out the truth:
$250 million was donated to the Center for Tech and Civic Life, a nonpartisan organization that plans to use the funds to help state and local governments pay for things like hiring and training poll workers, renting polling places, buying protective gear for poll workers, purchasing equipment to process mail-in ballots, and voter education. The couple is also giving $50 million to the Center for Election Innovation and Research, which will fund outreach to inform voters about registration, mail-in voting, and other peculiarities of carrying out an election in a pandemic.

Not a single word about Democratic or Republican anything.

Further:

”An automated error caused this ad account to be disabled,” the spokesperson said. “The account has since been restored.”

No conspiracy.

The events of Wednesday led many Republicans to call Trump a threat to democracy.

From a report by the Amistad Project (a non-partisan election watch dog organization)...

As has been widely reported, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg gave hundreds of million to incentivize local election officials to rewrite election rules. The Zuckerberg election slush fund was reportedly funneled through an organization called the Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL).

Zuckerberg’s cash went almost exclusively to Democratic partisan organizations, which sponsored absentee ballot boxes, according to the report. “CTCL began sending agents into states to recruit certain Democrat strongholds to prepare grants requesting monies from CTCL,” Amistad alleges.

“Polling data revealed this coordinated assault on in-person voting generally favored Democrats who preferred to vote in advance, while placing Republicans, who preferred to vote in person, at a disadvantage,” the Amistad report reads.

The report notes that Amistad’s analysis found that “one drop box was placed every four square miles and for every 4000 voters” in Delaware county, a staunchly Democrat area. In contrast, “in the 59 counties carried by Trump in 2016, there was one drop box for every 1,100 square miles and every 72,00 voters.”

If people want a platform where anything goes, I'm all for that. With that said, the platform owners cannot also claim immunity from civil lawsuits and criminal prosecution when their platforms are used to plan and implement criminal activities that result in death and destruction of property. Free speech does not mean anything goes. There is a ton of case law that limits "free speech" in situations like falsely yelling fire in a crowded theater causing a stampede and death or slander an libelous speech. One can and should be held liable for speech that causes damage and death when that speech is false and directly incites death and violence.

So, by all means, spew all the hate, lies, and violence you want... just don't expect to be immune from consequences.

Yes we do. You're part of the Trump cult who changes iPhones every 2 weeks because you have nothing else going on in your life. What occurred Wednesday was an INSURRECTION against the US government by TRUMP SUPPORTERS. TRUMP wanted this to happen which is why he is a traitor.

Constantly repeating lies and half-truths doesn’t make them true, whether you “know” them or not.

Really? A woman that died - literally carrying the "Don't Tread On Me" flag - was trampled to death because she joined the riot.

oh and blm riots all summer was nothing to Kamala and joe helped promote it

Suppressing the voice of 1/3 of the population will work out great. In the end this will just prove the wackos right and push them further underground and validate future violence. You can’t stop speech but you can make it a lot harder for the IC and law enforcement to prevent future attacks which is what apple is doing here.

Sure wish some of those folks that looted, destroyed, and killed over the summer would’ve gone to prison. Oh wait, THAT crap was acceptable.

FWIW, I do not support violence or threats of violence, but I also don’t support, and am pretty sick of, double standards with this sort of speech/behavior. NO ONE condemns BLM, Antifa, or any radical left-wing groups’ speech or actions. The double standards are absolutely sickening.
The people involved in the BLM protests were mostly peaceful. However, the actions of those who chose to riot at the time were NOT in fact acceptable. Similarly, the folks at the rally Wednesday aren’t the issue here. The folks that broke off and ransacked the Capitol are the problem. Are you unable to differentiate between legitimate protestors and rioters?

It sounds like you don't really keep up with facts or history. The last time the US Capitol was breached was in 1814 by the British. That didn't happen again until.......WEDNESDAY. BY TRUMP SUPPORTERS.

Look people all trump wanted was people go go down and rally peacefully no where did he say start fights he is all about law and order so stop lying people

I’m just going to leave this right here. I love how censorship works for thee and not me.
