The rich can afford owning an iPhone AND an Android device, and still want both in group chats. It’s you poor shmucks who can only afford just an iPhone. Can everyone just stop being poor and buy iPhones already?
Which I've never understood because the Messages app icon is green...so you would think they'd have made that blue if blue is the superior color in the debate...
They have to do something to differentiate between iMessage and RCS. I say keep RCS green! They are going to still use a different color for those messages?
When did anyone at Apple ever say the colors had anything to do with status? It’s just stupid clickbait from sites like the Verge that want to make it seem like the green bubble is lower-class or that people are bullied/made fun of because their bubble is green in a group text. It’s so stupid.Which I've never understood because the Messages app icon is green...so you would think they'd have made that blue if blue is the superior color in the debate...

Why is stuff that Android has been doing for years suddenly too complex for Apple to handle?Because it adds a ton of complexity. You now have iMessage + non-RCS sms + RCS sms bubbles.
you know you can't video chat with green bubbles. with RCS? who knows, depends which RCS is used.
