I'll never understand why American's pronounce it as AH-LOO-MA-NIM
Aluminium is AL-YOU-MIN-EE-UM.
Same pronunciation as Gallium, Magnesium, Uranium etc.
Both are correct and recognized by IUPAC.

Should be cheaper, not more expensive.
I truly believe these new iPhones will be the best iPhones Apple has ever made.
If process is less expensive It does not mean that product will be cheaper, just margin will be higherShould be cheaper, not more expensive.
the new iPhone, now with twice the crackable surface area!
No more Jony Ive's "aluMINIum"? Thank God.
(and come in a complimentary plastic bag)
That's why the iPhone 4-5 were the best regarding handling...Hopefully the finish on the metal makes it less slippery than the currentbar of soapiPhone

So iPhone 6/7 inch screen in the 5 form factor. That would be amazing. When I last did the measurements I figured you could fit 4.5" in there, or 4.7" if it's sans-home button.
And it will be "the best iPhone we have ever made!"Typical Digitimes rubbish. The next iPhone will have a mercury case (and come in a complimentary plastic bag).
if you mean for Apple (yes) - this will improve their margins - if you mean to the customer - that's unlikely. If you are in one of the yearly upgrade programs from Apple or carriers it probably doesn't matter as the price increase might be $3-5 dollars extra a month - I am guessing Apple is counting on that for people to absorbed any increases.Should be cheaper, not more expensive.

More like Iveopathic.Well this seems incredibly xenophobic.
However, they're all the same Watch inside. Not sure if Apple had a "trade-up" program for the Edition model, but trading gold (Aurum for those that care...why it isn't Aurium is up for discussion) for ceramic one seems to be a bad deal.Perhaps they'll follow the path the watch has taken and offer a low-end aluminum model, a mid-grade stainless model, and a high-end ceramic model. Imagine a ceramic iPhone. It would probably cost $1,800; but there are some people that would buy it in a heartbeat.
