The antenna gate was a hoax anyway.
Apple was actually to smart for their own good. The etches in the iPhone 4 metal frame is to allow better reception. To bad that it marked exactly where people should hold to bring down the signal.
All phones have antennas. Every single phone has a "death" grip.

iPod classic update? Maybe? Please?!

Really? People still interested in the classic? That's cool! I hope it gets a huge update just for you!!![]()

Honestly, What about it needs an update? It's a rock-solid 160GB metal beast as it is.
I have never had antenna issues with my iPhone 4.
Heartily disagree. I was using a Treo 700p on Sprint when the original iPhone launched. Up to that point I was on Sprint for the past 7 years and had zero issues with them. But-for the iPhone I'd still be with them. I do not hold anything against Sprint, but it was well worth jumping to ATT for the iPhone. I have no regrets.
The presumption that the signal attenuation would be bothering more than a tiny minority was the hoax.antennagate was no hoax. have you ever used an iPhone 4? I guess I was just "holding it wrong"
I am expecting 3G iPod Touch, or even 3G or WIFI iPod Classic !
It's reasonable for Apple to bring iCould to iPods in order to free them from cables.
And for me as well. There's no other iPod that can hold all my music. I hold on to that little clickwheel-having guy for dear life.

I bet if you did a survey of iPhone 4 owners now and asked them if it has worse reception than their previous phone (and subtract the background noise, ie, the percentage of people saying that even if they had been given exactly identical phones), you would arrive at a very tiny percentage.
Waiting with bated breath.
Yup, looking to be an iPhone 5 owner soon enough!
But my 3GS, surprisingly, is still in great shape! It hasn't really slowed down... the battery is still going strong, all the buttons still work, and all the speakers/mike are fine! The only complaint is that there's a pixel or two in the middle of the screen that's given outand of course a few scratches...
3GS is not to be underestimated my friend!![]()
People stuck on their heads that the iPhone 5 will be announced when there hasn't been any confimation or denial by Apple in the matter. You should wait to see what is actually announced before celebrating, cause imagine the iPhone is not announced, that would be a big turn off for everyone, including me...
I've never had a single issue with it either... Maybe it is a regional thing.lucky you.. whenever i let anyone use my iPhone i have to show them how to hold it. If I don't and they hold it like any other phone it drops their call every time. Its embarrassing to a degree

Why does everyone seem to forget that next october will mark the 10th anniversary of the original iPod release in 2001?
I'm not saying that it means that the event will be in october, but even in September, it wouldn't be surprising that Apple would do something special about it!
