I don't know what to expect from this. Both Snow Leopard and Windows 7 are on par with each other. I have no idea what I'd want new on the desktop now - it's stagnated for so long.

My thoughts exactly. We get another 2 years starting now os OSX and bam 11 comes out. Probably a fusion hybrid of OSX and iOS incorporating the first touch features on desktops.

Well, if they do 10.8 Cougar they could go over to the MILF word family.

Looks like I'm going to have to start putting some cash aside for the next OS upgrade.

...

Ok, done.

(whew, good thing I'm not on Windows anymore!)

It's coming in a week. What will it be?

- OS X 10.7?
- iLife 11?
- New Macbook Air?
- New Macbook Line?

Finally, some good news! Is that an Apple-made invitation graphic I see? If it is, then it HAS to be lion no doubt. Sneak peak at this event, then release for next year? Mmm dunno.

But a lion is king of the beasts. Nothing can top it. After 10.7 comes 11?

I'd thought a similar thing with Snow leopard. It is a winter animal, end of the year, end of OS X.

I now think we'll be sticking with OS X until there is a revolution in the OS, rather than evolution. And I mean proper revolution, a major change in the way it is used, and not just touchscreen use.

Macbook air will be updated for sure.
I see lion, so they are gonna talk about 10.6.5 OS and 10.7 OS for Mac due to be released next year.

Finally, they will announce iLife 2011 and iWork 2011. Other than that, who knows...
