Imagine that, a bundle option right before those one year free subs for Apple TV+ are set to expire.

Standard damage control. When services are not treading water, bundle them with ones that are surviving on their own. No one wants Apple News or Apple Arcade, the numbers show that. And, Apple is afraid that when those free Apple TV+ subscriptions lapse their retention rate is going to be abysmal. So, bundle them all with Apple Music since that service and the App Store are generating the lion's share of the services revenue.

Always be wary when a company doesn't release what their subscriber numbers are. They are hiding something.
I’m actually surprised the record labels are allowing Apple Music to be part of any bundle. It‘s obviously going to be propping up all the other services.

I hope that by finally doing something with the iCloud option they add the option to pay for more storage than 2TB.

I’ve been a frequent user of the 4K video functionalityon my phone and my GoPro and are currently unable to pay Apple more money for the storage I need. Give me an option to add more storage in packages like +1TB or something like that.

As we can already see by the comments here - everybody wants different things. All I want is better iCloud (with options even above 2TB) and Apple TV+ family pack. Zero interest in the other services (News not available and wouldn't use for free, the very little time in my life I have for gaming I spend on proper PC games, and for music I strongly prefer Spotify).

"Pick and mix" bundles would be the sensible and CUSTOMER FRIENDLY route, right? Not that I would expect that from the current greed-by-Timmy monstrosity that is Apple (but I'd love to be wrong).

I'd gladly evaluate a bundle. Curious to see how iCloud will fit in.

Another thing I'd like to see coming is a hi-res Apple Music tier. I'm not holding my breath, though, since I know it's not a popular request.

AppleTV + is so poor, I wouldn't watch it even if it was free.

I got it for free. Still don’t watch it... Seeing these stats (all the people who got a free trial and ignore it) is probably what’s getting their panties in a bunch.

I may also be interested in fitness classes since my gym is still closed.

I honestly recommend DownDog and all the other stuff they have. It’s a sub but super worth it.

Am I the only one who objects to a multi-tiered service being referred to as “One”?

It should be simple - One subscription that just gives you everything Apple:

Automatically always have the latest iPhone, AppleCare, iCloud, and Apple Music, TV+, News+, and Arcade.

For just One hundred dollars/month.
Or whatever price is actually appropriate - I just wanted to have a price with One in it.

Bring it on. Currently my household subscribe to:

Apple Music Family Membership £14.99
2GB shared iCloud storage (device backups, photo libraries) £6.99
Apple TV+ (12 month free trial, ends in November) £4.99
Apple News+ (worth it for Time & The Atlantic alone) £9.99

Anything that can bundle the above together and a lower price would be welcome. Might even consider resubscribing to Apple Arcade as part of a reduced price bundle.

Will be interested to see if this is presented as solely pre-created ‘set menu’ bundle(s) or whether one can pick & mix to create a custom bundle for individual and/or family sharing needs.
my thoughts exactly...I'm subscribed to the same things, minus News+...TV+ is the free trial, which I wouldn't pay full price for. Allow me to customize a bundle, and I'm in.

With gyms being heavily impacted combined with apple’s growing emphasis on health, apple fitness seems like a good fit

I have a student Apple Music subscription for 5 Euro and tbh I never spent that much on music a year. For 10 Euro I'd cancel immediately. TV+ is included for free. Never used it, so unappealing. News+ not available, but from what I've heard not worth it anyway. Arcade is for kids. iCloud is interesting and priced quite competitively. Not really sold on these services, yet.

Apple isn’t simple any more. Look at how many of their hardware lineups got messy just to hit a bunch of price points. I like your idea but with a second, cheaper option for people who don’t want/need a new iPhone every year. But having all these different tiers is too complicated and people don’t do as well with too many choices/options. If there‘s just one bundle you might get people to try something they otherwise wouldn’t have. I don‘t really have any interest in Arcade but if it was part of my “Apple One” subscription I probably would check it out.

This rumor about a fitness subscription is interesting considering what Apple told ClassPass.

And don’t forget family subscriptions! I pay for a Apple Music family sub and would like to get a deal if I sign up for 12 months like you can with an individual account. Can’t understand why this isn’t available already.

I have Apple Music family, iCloud 2TB, and until recently I had News+ ... I'm not saying this is going to get confusing as far as what service(s) you can bundle, and which you can't, but wouldn't it be easier to just lower the pricing on existing services and let people pick and chose and call it a day without creating tiered system?

Ha, I just remembered ... isn't AppleOne a staffing agency, been around for ages I think. So this should be interesting 🍿🍿🍿

@BlankStar not sure you'll have a choice given how things are going with other apps and services Apple has to offer. That's the main reason I dumped News+ ... it got so crazy with "suggested" topics and featured stories completely unrelated to what I want to read/follow, just like the Music app is now in iOS14 beta. App Store is not far behind, with everything having "stories" and other overlapping content might as well bring back a unifed iTunes app with tabs for News, Arcade, Apps, TV, etc. but what do I know ...
