I know I'm late to the game, but every time I see that "logo" for Apple News (+ or -), I don't see the letter "N". I see the letter "S", something similar in structure to Paul Renner's Futura Black.

Oh, well, that's what I get for being an old-school typographer.

I’ll prefer an iCloud + Apple Arcade + Apple Music bundle, with the option to activate for entire family

I have Apple Music. I would be interested in Apple TV+ and an iCloud storage option which would prevent me from getting those ‘Your iCloud storage is full’ notifications.
I don’t think Apple TV+ is worth £5.99 a month at the minute, it has the potential, but not right now. If I could get Apple Music and Apple TV+ for £12.99 I think it would be worth it, especially if I got an iCloud storage option with it.
I’m not interested in paying for Apple news, and Apple Arcade isn’t something I’d be interested in. As I have tried to state in my scenrsrion though, it may well interest some people who would pay a discounted price for services they would be new too or use less than other primary services.
In terms of Apple Music, having say Apple TV+ or something else added in for say another £2 - £3 per month may make people switch over from Spotify, in search or more value for money, which is what I think Apple would be aiming for.

In saying this, I have not long since paid for 1 year upfront for Apple Music. I would hope that Apple would allow people like me to pay the increased charge as a one off, rather than having to wait for my subscription to end.

Lastly, I honestly think when all the services like Apple TV+, Apple News, and Arcade were announced, that they would have done a subscription bundle. It seems so unlike Apple to have waited this long to bring it to market.

I'll have a go at this, might be incomplete.

iTunes Match takes all the music I already have on my computer and iTunes doesn't have. 25 years of CDs, etc. and uploads it to be used anywhere I have iTunes or Apple Music. So that obscure British track (I'm a Brit) that no-one's ever heard of? I've got it everywhere.

Apple Music does that as well.

“[…] followed by a more expensive bundle featuring iCloud storage.”

Interesting how the (presumably) most expensive option is the only one to include the thing that costs them the least amount of money.

C’mon Apple.

Why are so many marketing departments putting the word "One" in their product names?
Palm One
Capital One
OneDrive
Xbox One
Google One
and so on

Not sure they should call it Apple One when there will be multiple options. More like à la Apple carte.

Brilliantly frustrating marketing move if they put the iCloud storage at the "end" of the bundle. Put the most popular service at the end, forcing people to subscribe to News+ if they want to get an iCloud savings.

That's kind of how marketing works. Of course, you don't need to bundle anything to get the iCloud storage level that you need/want... just continue to buy a la carte.

I’m actually surprised the record labels are allowing Apple Music to be part of any bundle. It‘s obviously going to be propping up all the other services.

Why does it matter to the record labels? They negotiate a pricing structure with Apple for Apple Music. If Apple chooses to offer the subscription for less than they are paying, that's on Apple, and Apple takes the hit. The labels will get theirs regardless of what Apple charges for the service.

If I buy 1M widgets at $5/per, the widget maker gets $5M. If I sell them for $4/per, the widget maker still has his $5M, and it's ME that takes the loss.

Besides apple music and icloud, is any of the other apple services succesful?

As others have pointed out, if apple offers a service I don’t really want bundled with other services I don’t really care for, it won’t make them more attractive.

If it’s $10 a month / $100 a year I’m sold.
It’s apple we’re talking about.

Im currently subscribed to Music, Arcade, and iCloud Storage... Apple TV+ will come for free I expect with my next device purchase which will probably be iPhone 12... can I have a yearly purchased bundle that lowers the package price?

Apple News+ is not available outside the US afaik, I would imaging a service bundle to not be centered around it if its launching worldwide.
I might consider it if that existed and the savings was enough. Don't really like or have time for Arcade to make it worth the standalone price, but if the bundle made it half or less on top of the normal prices of music and iCloud. But will they do like Disney and credit your bundle for the price of Music if you get it free through a promo such as Verizon?

Wouldn't it make more sense to include the least appealing services (Apple News +) in the cheapest tiers? If people already aren't buying it, why would they pay more for it to add it on? It's the same thing. Give it at a heavily discounted price when bundling music and TV and people might then use it for the heck of it, and they might become dependent on it.
Wish they would just allow anything, and they would take the total cost of the items you chose, and apply an increasing discount based on the number of items.

Annual fee for Apple Music and TV+, say 120 U$ with a tier of of iCloud included?

Apple Music (Single User) - $100/year
ATV+ - $50/year
iCloud - $12/year

Sorry, but keep dreaming about that 25% discount.

I love all the comments in here saying that if they slash the prices by some outrageous amount then they're in. Yours is more realistic but still too much of a discount. Think 10-15%.

There's not much that interesting on Apple TV+ and I've found this to be too USA oriented. I tried some of the series and it's so USA centered that I'm losing interest quickly. I have free Apple TV+ for a year since I bought an Apple TV. I've been an Apple Music and iCloud storage subscriber for years. I tried Apple News for a free three month subscription and stopped using it because it became redundant reading the same news many times and information overload. I prefer to encourage one or two major newspapers online instead to keep them alive. For me, the Apple Music/iCloud storage would be my preferred option. There is no need to stroll me on my message since I don't read reactions to my posts. I read other's contributions with great interest. But strolls and bashers are totally ignored.

Until they see all the churn numbers for ATV+ who don’t renew after the free year. At that point they will want the subscriber numbers, so could make it a very attractive bundle. Millions each paying $1 is better than thousands paying $5 (or however the math will work).

Just spitballing... but I could go for something like this:

$ 5 TV+
$10 Music
$15 Music Family
$10 News+
$ 5 Arcade

Restructure the iCloud Storage rates:
$ 5 iCloud Storage (1TB) new
$10 iCloud Storage (2TB)
$15 iCloud Storage (4TB) new

This would create a total of 10 units (some would be mutually exclusive like Music and Music Family, or multiple levels of iCloud storage).

Package a 'build your own' bundle using units/multiples of $5.
Buy 5 units ($25), get one free - a 16.7% savings.
Buy 8 units ($40), get them all (2 free) - a 20% savings.
