I'm near Atlanta and seeing availability for the 32GB black in SC and NC - was nothing in that area last night. There are still some as I write this at 10:17 EST.

Only 64GB was at Lenox Mall in Atlanta but I can't commit to that higher price :(

Seems to be a fair amount of stock in NYC right now. Just got a 32GB Black ATT for pickup in SOHO. First try. Also got a 32GB White ATT reserved for my girl for at Grand Central. For her I had to enter zip code and hit the Check Inventory button a couple times, but eventually it showed in stock at multiple stores.

16gb in GA

Finally! Tonight is the first time since they started this reserve thing I have seen *any* AT&T phones (any color or size) show up in the Atlanta area. After having a black 16gb in my cart for pickup at Perimeter Mall, I lost it by the time I checked out. Quickly switched to a black 32gb, and some showed up at Lenox and I was able to grab it quickly enough to finish checking out with it still in my cart.

My story was opposite. Been wanting to get a 32gb black ATT, but the closest one showing stock was that Lenox store. Had to settle for the 16gb in Augusta store.

Anyone have any luck at the Apple Store in Crossgates Mall in Albany, NY?
I see that the 32GB/16GB white/blacks are available, but I really wanted a 64GB black :(

Anyone have any luck walking in the past week and picking up an iPhone 5?

This is a stupid question but which site are yall checking for inventory?

store.apple.com. then go through the process of ordering the iphone. Select your model and go through the entire process until you get to the shopping cart page. then you can select pickup at store, click the change store and put in your zip code and you can see which store has stock. If no stores have stock, click cancel and then change the model by clicking the "edit model" link on the shopping cart page, and repeat the process. good luck!

Still no AT&T Black 64GB in Buffalo, NY....i know it's only been a week, but how far behind are they. This is not the first trip to the store for APPLE. This is their what, 6th iPhone they have put out. They should know by now, how many they are going to sell. Get with the program!!!!

they're doing it to increase demand. Remember the wii lol

I've been trying every night since it started and apparently the Apple Store in Greenville, SC hasn't received any verizon iPhone 5's all week...seems kind of odd to me.

Any issues with leaving the phone i want in my cart for several days in a row (after selecting add a line, check credit, etc)? I'd hate to have it show up as available at 10:00:01, and try to checkout with it... only to have it tell me i have to start all over.

five million is nothing to them and their investors. I guess you don't watch the market. They don't want 20 million. They want 30 million

Ok, if they want 30 million units sold, then don't you think they should have 30 million in stock to sell...unless they don't believe they can sell that many. They trouth the BEST iPhone every, but here we sit, people like us here, waiting for some to get in stock, and let's not forget all the pre-orders that are still waiting also. For a company that believes they have th best iPhone every and they surely don't have enough stock to meet demand based on that statement.

They don't believe they can beat records conventionally. If they met 98% of demand in the first three weeks then what? They'll prob flat line at 15-20 mil. What they have now are people like us who will tell other people how rare this phone is. Creates mass hysteria. I remember this same "shortage" when I wanted the iphone 4. You telling me a near trillion dollar company can't meet supply on their sixth try?

I've done the same thing. Have several Phones in cart and try to refresh.

Please tell me that you really don't think they are trying to create mass hysteria, really?

I understand what you are saying. But I still believe they always under estimate the number of people wanting a new iPhone on release date or soon after.

No, i am not telling you that a near trillion dollar company can't meet supply on their sixth try, Apple is doing that all by themselves.

I was able to snag a black 32GB Verizon iPhone 5 @ Woodfield (Chicago area).

Most of Chicago was lit up on the store selection screen at 10:02pm.
