Apple to Launch Personal Pickup for iPhone 5 Tonight

Thanks everyone for posting all this helpful information!

Question: Early in this thread, there was a conversation about not being able to purchase 2 iPhones at the same time through Personal Pickup?

Does anyone know if that is still the case or not? I was hoping to buy 2 of the exact same units, for my wife and I.

Haven't had any luck since this started. Hoping tonight is different. I guess the metro Detroit area isn't so poor after all.
 
Three Houston Stores currently have AT&T White 16 GB Model - exact one I wanted, but not a single other size/carrier. Sugar Land, Highland Village, and Memorial City.
 
Kinda victorious...I finally found a black 64gB ATT in LA at the Grove. I live in San Diego though. I guess that's my day tomorrow. I consider it worth it for something that will be in my pocket for the next year. Still more there if anyone is looking.

My Apple ID is under an e-mail address that doesn't exist anymore. Do I need to go there with any confirmation from that e-mail?

Can someone that has successfully ordered through here please reply? It's a 2 hour drive and I'm not going to have any confirmation. Should it be ok?

Hmm maybe that was the problem, was looking for a 32gb

EDIT: They still have some 32GB White AT&T at the University Village (Seattle) store, FINALLY!!

Yay! The Apple stores, Ala Moana and Kahala mall, they have the iPhone 5, white, 16GB AT&T in stock!
 
Finally! Grabbed a 16gb white(now thinking I should have grabbed a 32....) in CT Westfarms Mall store.....I actually was in the hospital at10:10 with my son...(he lumped his hit pretty bad playin)....when it dawned on me.....IT'S PAST TEN! Pulled up the applestore app and within 5 seconds had a phone ready to check out....just keep trying everyone and the apple gods will reward you! I got my pickup email within a Hr ....now it's time to wait in line :

What phone were you looking for? There were several Verizon models in stock at Somerset last night.

You can check your order status on Apple's site and you should receive a text when it is ready too. Also I would switch your account email ASAP.

^^Same, Can someone please check for any Dallas area stores? Preferably Northpark, but anything else in that area is OK also. The 16 gb White iPhone 5 is what I have in mind :)

To everyone that has had success with the in store pickup: What exactly happens when you get to the store? I am going to try the in store pickup but am filling out the account under another person's name and SS number, but with my own credit card information. Would this person have to show up at the store the next day or I can show up with my CC and pick up?

You will have to show up with the account holder, if this is a new line, However,if it is an upgrade and your an authorized user on the account then you can pick it up.

this is a new account. Unfortunately, I would be the only one that can show up to the Apple Store. What about the pre order? They will ship it to anyone doesn't have to be the account holder, no?
