Before Apple opened in this space, what was there, and how was it accessed?
Why spend millions of dollars renovating a relatively new landmark into practically the same Architecturally dull glass box?
The previous design looked better as it had presence, this one blends too much into the background.
I believe that was an open space in front of the FAO Schwartz toy store. It was also I believe, across the street from an apartment that Steve Jobs once owned, that I also believe he bought from Bono.
It's true. There's a VZW kiosk selling a variety of Android phones IN the food court of Ogilvie Transportation Center in Chicago. I pass it every weekday morning and afternoon on my commute. Also, there's a Dollar General that sells some low LOW end Android handsets up the street from a restaurant I frequent. It's almost embarrassing.
