The A8 is much more efficient and contrary to the Iphone, don't think they'll boost the resolution substantially.

If they don't change resolution or CPU clockc rate, you'd get 6h longer, thus 18h. If they boost the clock rate (which they'll probably do somewhat seeing as there is more space to dissipate heat). You'd probably still get a few hours more.
 
Anyone have an estimate on how much a Retina iMac would cost?

In addition, I'm guessing there won't be any Macbook Pro or MacBook Air updates this year?
 
Thunderbolt 2 on iMac?

Anyone heard if TB2 will be on the rumored new iMac? Clearly Broadwell isn't available but surely TB2 is a possibility.

It's not free. You just have a loan bundled in your monthly subscription. The only difference with a real loan is that the phone company can apply interest way above usury and that you keep paying the loan even with the capital has been reimbursed.
I will never again pay a contract with a phone included and an engagement. And as a bonus, I'm free to change operator each month if I want to.
 
Hmm.. Yosemite launch either at the 14th or 16th.........

Then there is a big chance for them to release the next GM candidate on Tuesday. (if it needs it, which I really really think it does, still inconsistency and bugs)

And I feel the public beta is over now with the 4th due to the supposed release is just in 2 weeks. But come on Apple, release at least one more GM candidate, the current one is really not stable enough to be the final GM.

Not to mention all the inconsistency throughout the OS it self.. We still need more icons and UI overhauls to make it complete :p

Yea, can you imagine what a retina 27" 5K display with an Apple logo will cost?

Hope they set a trend downward but it would be out of the norm for Apple.

And yet in a speed test done by Cult of Android the iPhone 6 spanked the HTC One (M8), which they acknowledged as the (former) speed champion. Take a look at their methodology before you dismiss the test as not being relevant to your concern. It would seem RAM isn't everything when it comes to multitasking. Maybe we need to write to 1Password (I use it, too) and tell them to write better code?

Who would buy an iWatch?

An Android Fan boy called me and wanted my advise (? especially he knew that he would get the biggest and baddest) iPhone. The reason for the switch it to get an iWatch, which he thinks a good fashion statement and is hoping that the gold watch is expensive (to show off). This friend of mine was confident that most men from his family would get gold watch.

I may not agree but can be an interesting reason for people to buy iWatch and switch to Apple phone. But again, I did not believe that there is / was an app like this

I did consider your points, it's just that I disagreed with them.

Unlike in a customer service department, the customer is not "always right" and I'm not forced to act like I agree with the issues you mention. It seems like for you to think I "considered" your points, you'd have wanted me to agree with those issues, then try to find solutions to fix them.

Now, did you consider my points? Or did you just pull an ad hominem without addressing any of them?

Dual TB connectors? Just upgrade the graphics card to one with DisplayPort 1.3 ouput. That's what I'll do on my 2009 MP. ;)
