Nope you're ignorant I'm sorry. I already said it has many benefits, it's just not something that prevents a lot of disease. Scientific fact. You eat terribly and exercise all you want, you won't lose much weight at all. Go try it ;)

LOL, you are funny. Stubborn but funny. Any search of the medical literature for retrospective population studies will show the benefits of exercise on preventing disease.

It's been a nice little flame war but you need to stop writing things that will only embarrass you later. Cheers.

A smart watch is so 2013... I thought we had established that it's not necessary and doesn't provide much... I'm not going to lie I would love to see Apple show me that I'm wrong.

They're pretty good a convincing people they want something they don't think they want, historically.

Wow, I didn't realise we were getting so close to keynote day. Usually I'm fully aware of the days ticking by but I haven't really been the indulged in Apple rumours recently. Super pumped for the iPhone 6 though! That and seeing what they have to offer with the iWatch.

what about the apple tv?

if there is one then it would likely be mentioned also. It makes sense really. How much would there really be to talk about with the new iPhones. A8/M8 chip, perhaps slightly bigger size, perhaps slightly better camera. That will take perhaps 10 minutes. Same with the iPads which will probably be the same basic shape with similar guts and touch id. That's another 10. We'll say 15 each for a nice round number. That's after 15 minutes or so of talking about 'the state of things'. And 15 talking about the iTunes stores.

Then 20 minutes to introduce a revamped Apple TV before the big reveal of the wearable. about 90 minutes for the whole thing.

Then space out the launches with the iPhone the next week. iPads perhaps two weeks after that. iWatch and Apple TV another 2-3 after that.

Historically though, Steve was always a marketed a product using tentpoles. 7 for the iPhone 4, then 9 for the iPhone 5.

Surely it'll take longer? - I'm betting on no 'iTV'

Surely we would have seen some leaked images or parts if this was true.

not necessarily. 90% of the reason for all the leaks is that China doesn't give a **** about IP rights. If Apple tried to sue the Chinese courts, well we've seen how that has turned out with other things.

If this was being designed, prototyped and made in the US things are different.

And Steve is dead. Has been for a while. How he did things is moot.

I would be very surprised if Apple announces the new iPads on Sept 9th. I expect Apple to announce the new iPads sometime in October.

I'm not. The more they announce the more the media will cream their shorts. Leaving anything out just opens up more delay rumors etc. Better to speak now and end the rumors.

September, October, 2015, they're all the same thing.

Seriously though, Apple hasn't been this secretive about a product since iPhone, which makes me a little excited.

For once we get to actually watch a keynote and not know a damn thing about the product they're announcing. Complete surprise. Haven't had that feeling since the iPhone keynote!

All good points. Excellent and well considered counterpoints

Try giving me something worth responding to, and you will get some excellent and well-considered counterpoints. Sorry, but authoritative claims based on nothing but a curiously disconnected view of Apple's product history does not count.

(Double roll eyes, you lose.)

Usually one week before. So next Tuesday I'd expect them to go out.

I'm excited for the invite too. So we can take whatever line apple gives us and try to decipher its meaning and go crazy. If it has anything relating to watch, I will crap myself
