The biggest bummer BY FAR for me is that Siri on ATV4 is not available in Finland. In ANY language. Yet my iPhone's Siri has no problem speaking english and russian to me...
Thats pure speculation. It was the perfect time for it a year ago, no-one has figured it out yet. 3 years ago wasn't the right time for 4K tv's but sure enough they hit the market then, alas way overpriced... but it isn't the market that dictates the toys, its the availability of the toys that dictates the market. Read the thread about the iPod when it came out to prove my point. That's pure speculation. And it wouldn't have happened. It's not the time for it yet.
you know Job would have made it happen, seems there are few business men like him left, with the guts to stand up and push like a mo-fo to get something done. #firstworldproblems #butseriouslyhewasabadass
Not sure why anyone is interested in the streaming service. Based on the early descriptions, it didn't appear to be a good deal.
Wake me up when there is a decent LCD TV with 4K worth spending the money on, because LCD TV's SUCK! 4K OLED is not an option as it's way overpriced and still has growing pains.Wake me up when there is a Apple TV with HDMI 2.0a and it can output 4k and has 4k content for viewing.
I needed a new TV as my old one broke so I couldn't wait any longer. I went with the Samsung js9500 and it's great. Perfect? No. Awesome? Just restore the software in iTunes, that's what did it for me. Downloading from the Dev Center gave me the build I already had, so I don't know what the deal was, but restoring through iTunes worked perfectly.Same here, when I check the ATV for updates... nothing. I check the developer site and the build number is the same '13T396'. Guess, I'm going to have to be patient.
Restore via iTunes (NOT from the tvOS GM) and you should be good. Not sure why there's no public release in the Dev Center, but whatevs, it'll make its way there eventually.I also don't see anything on how to update? Nothing on the developer site or within Software Update
That's reasonable. You certainly shouldn't until you're as excited as the rest of us.I'm trying to get excited about this, but until I see some useful killer apps, or an innovative subscription service, I just can't.....

yes. can use apple id1 for iTunes and apple id2 for photo streamDoes anyone know - does this allow for multiple apple ids for different services? i.e. one ID for photos, a different one for apple music?

You pay to support Plex and you get early access to new features, and currently also the new Media Player that will replace Home Theater.I'm curious to know why would one pay a plex subscription vs using the Apple home share feature which is free?
I really want to upgrade - sick of Airplaying Amazon Prime to my ATV3 - however until i see confirmation that Amazon will actually launch such an app - im leaning towards the Fire TV. God what did i just say?![]()

For the record the tvOS app will have a tvOS UI:

App is currently in review after having been rejected twice (for technical reasons, not because it is Plex).
