lol my steel series gaming controller has already gone to 'preparing for shipment'. Apple TV still says processing. Both have Nov 2-4 delivery estimate.

My cc has been charged for the controller but not yet for the ATV

Ordered the 64GB model. I was all for just getting the 32GB, but thought at the checkout "it's only £40 more". I'm not sure I need the extra storage right now, but have a feeling I might need it in the future especially as (hopefully) this box isn't going to get replaced anytime soon so room for future expansion is always good.

Per my previous post, I've canceled my existing order and re-ordered it with my debit card. But still no immediate email. Or maybe my email just sucks.

I thought the controller would be $100. $50 was my impulse price. Order a controller and 64gb Appletv. I already have the steel series mini by this looks like a nice upgrade. And my wife and I can play two player games.

$100 for the Guitar, though.. OUCH! Guess we'll leave our Guitar Heroing for the Wii.

Preordered 32gb at 1:45pm UK time I've got email telling me- Dispatched: 3-5 business days
Delivery: 30 Oct - 3 Nov by Standard Shipping showing.

Order was placed in the Apple Store app.

I've also had to order an hdmi splitter box and another hdmi cable to separate off the audio because my surround sound system only has optical in so its been an expensive day

I guess I'm still bound by the NDA until Friday so I guess what I should say is, based on what we know only a limited number of apps, chosen by Apple can access Siri in any way. This should change in the future as it would seem Apple are eventually going to open up the API to all developers.

Thank you sir. :)

64 on the way...

Was bummed to see that they wanted $80 for an extra remote.

At the risk of asking a stupid question, if you mean a Siri Remote, why bother with it instead of just getting a gaming controller or suchlike?

With the Apple TV working with iPhones, universal remotes, game pads and so on, there's plenty of control options. I'd definitely pick a decent game pad over a second Siri remote for a better gaming experience (other than those god awful motion control ones that are bound to show up.)

Preordered my 64GB around 12:45 PM today. I was going to get the remote loop but will just pick that up later from an Apple store. I'm not sure about the controller right now but if I need one I will pick one up later. This is my first Apple TV and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm actually out of town from tomorrow until next Monday so I'm kind of hoping it won't be here until next Monday. My delivery estimate is Oct. 30th-Nov. 3rd.

just tried to upgrade my shipping to next day but the rep told me that since it's coming from overseas (to Canada) this option isn't available. Perhaps next day shipping is only available in the US?

I'm a little surprised the remote loop did not come with the ATV. well, maybe I'm not that surprised :)
