Agree. I did it for 2 Apple Tv's also. Not very smart. If I at least get mine tomorrow I will not be to upset. If I do not, and people received theres with free shipping. That is not right.

yeah, and no way to get refund on shipping charges either. big disappointment and really bad business practice when you think about it.
No big surprise since they come from Concord, ON (at least my Keyboard & trackpad was). Wouldn't be surprised if western Canada orders are changed to shipped later tonight/early tomorrow morning.

Why? As long as they get them in the timeframe they paid for, then they have nothing to complain about. I've used free shipping on every product I've ever bought from Apple and always gotten them on launch day. I don't know why you'd pay extra when this is the case but people are free to spend their money however they wish.
yes and no. When ordering I think it said you would not get it on the 30th if you chose standard. So people then paid more for expedited because they could not get it on the 30th with standard. So how is that fair? I feel for the people who spent extra for no reason at all now.
When I ordered mine Monday morning, here in the US the Apple website stated that standard shipping would be delivered between Nov. 2 - Nov. 4. The website made it appear that the only way you had a chance of getting it tomorrow was to upgrade to overnight shipping. I literally stared at my screen for minutes debating which to choose. I decided that I wanted a chance to have it this weekend so I paid the extra money.
If I had known there was a chance that standard shipping would arrive on Friday I would have never upgraded but, their website specifically stated that overnight was the only option for a Friday delivery. Now standard shipping is going to arrive tomorrow and many overnight folks haven't even received shipping notices. That's a little deceitful IMO. Lesson learned, never pay for overnight shipping on a new product from Apple again. Hope they enjoy my $17 tip.

Preordered Monday am, just received Apple shipping notice w/ delivery via UPS on Fri 10/30 by end of day. Just received UPS Mychoice email alerting me that my shipment from Apple will be delivered on Monday 11/2 by end of day. This will be interesting.....

that's exactly what I'm saying. Not sure how people can argue how that is exactly fair. It would be like paying extra for Amazon Prime shipping but everyone getting it the day before or the same day for not having to pay.
yeah that's terrible. No reason why it can't arrive tomorrow if it's already in Concord.
