Apple TV 4 Pre-Order Thread

Well.. Happy update. The FedEx system finally has a label for me, though my Apple order is still PFS, and I still haven't gotten the charge yet (will probably charge my card when Apple changed the order status to shipped).


My new theory.. is that they are moving these things FAST. My label is originating out of Rialto, CA.. It was created last night, and is still scheduled for delivery by the end of today, even though it hasn't left yet. I assume there are just a ton of units going places, and they are moving faster than their system is updating. Hopeful!

I talked to online chat on Apple and there no delay on my Apple TV 4

one rep told me mine would ship within a few hours (that was 4 hours ago) and be here monday. Another rep basically told me to piss off until after the Nov 4th window has passed

Mine has said " Order processed. Ready for UPS" All day. I suppose its somewhere in France but who knows where. I'm guessing it'll be Monday now.

Haha, hey, still before 10:30, right? Lol it would've been epic if they delivered it at 10:29...but then you'd have to wait an extra 8 minutes.

It would be nice if when ppl receive their ATV they posted what time they ordered, the time zone, what delivery option they chose, and where they are located.
That would help others who have not received theirs yet.

Placed an order w. expedited shipping option on Monday (Northern VA)... still preparing for shipment. Checked Tysons which was showing available today option; picked up the 64 GB Apple TV during lunch hour, called Apple to cancel my online order... frustrating online order experience but very smooth in-store experience - in & out in 10 mts!

oh, I just noticed that the UPS tracking page was in English, rather than French and it sais "United States" at the top. I do hope its not being shipped all that way?

Ordered my 32GB ATV Monday @ 9am ish. Apple store order status still says PFS but Fedex shows Im due to rec it before the end of day. Im in the Orange County, CA area. Paid for next day shipping.

We're in the same boat. Apple order is not updated, but label is created (Rialto FedEx) for delivery by EOD. Originally had standard shipping but changed to overnight.

Had to drop y Best Buy to return something. While I was there, someone asked about the new ATV. Manager checked in the back, and they had two boxes of them. Picked up a 64, and have another 64 pre-order en-route. Done.

and just to ramp the excitement again (but not to take us all off the thread topic), iPad Pro launch date just divulged - Apple plans to start selling the iPad Pro on November 11th. Doesn't look like that will be a pre-order either as only talk is of Online and Retail going on sale same day. Could make this another interesting scenario for those of us interested.

Well, ended up going to the Bayshore Apple Store. They had loads of them. Trying to cancel my order now, but Apple is giving me a hard time since it is in "Preparing to ship". They are trying to contact the shipper after some prodding. I'll just return it if / when it shows up I guess.

I asked about this in the morning when I picked up my ATV. Store rep said it would be fine, just need to bring along the receipt for the online order

So, my Fedex page says delivery is expected by tomorrow night but Apple's shipment email, which I just got, says delivery by 11/3. I did the free shipping.
