Mine was still PFS so I checked Best Buy's website around 3. Was available for store pickup my my local BB in Green Bay. Placed the order and had it within an hour.

So. NJ here, waiting on 64gb w/next day delivery. Label created and is in Harrisburg, and was showing delivery by end of day today. Delivery date turned to Pending a couple of hours ago.

I wonder if yours ended up like mine... Here in AZ, and my package is shipping from Ontario, California. It was "shipped" yesterday to arrive today via next day delivery. Unfortunately UPS "left it in (their) facility" and it didn't actually get in transit until today. And in their infinite ignorance and lack of wisdom, they decided the next business day, Monday, was an acceptable delivery time.

I contacted Apple, who refunded the shipping charge, and I contacted UPS who basically told me "sorry, but we can't do anything now that it's in transit" despite it being their (utterly incompetent) mistake.

Add me to the list, ordered first thing on Monday and got confirmation email before 7AM. However, since Tuesday the status has remained "Preparing for Shipment." Still nothing further from Apple as of 8PM Friday night. Given that the original email said "Available to ship: 3-5 business days" they've now officially missed their deadline since my order was accepted more than 5 days ago. All that I would have expected them to do is to give me an update before the end-of-day on Friday (which has now passed). So, it's a fail...

I'm not sure what I will do when (or if) it arrives. I may just send it back and get one at another store.

My free shipping 32GB finally shipped today and will be here on Nov 2 via Ontrac. No signature required

When I try tracking via OnTrac it claims Apple has not tendered the package to them. I was hoping for a Saturday or Sunday delivery since OnTrac delivers for Amazon on the weekends. I am in Southern California I am guessing it shipped from Rialto, CA.

Monday does not count as a business day Tuesday start day 1 they will ship it Monday for sure with mine

I'm stuck in preparing for shipment the struggle is real

I totally understand!!! I work at the Apple Store and can't just buy one off the shelf but we got plenty in stock here in Southern CA - San Gabriel Valley. I have to wait for the one I ordered online which was stuck in Prepared For Shipping from Tuesday. Husband works for UPS and has not been delivering many of them today. He got to come home at his usual time today. Apple chose to go with FedEx and Ontrac in my area for deliveries.

I could go into Best Buy and purchase one but can't return the one I purchased from Apple. All sales final. And I guess Best Buy would print the serial number on the receipt. And I don't want to go through the trouble of inputting all my sign in information twice.

Same thing happened to me here in AZ, received a Monday delivery date, i just went to the Apple store and picked one up instead.

Still PFS, so much for next day shipping. So went to Best Buy walked in picked one up. Will return whenever it actually does arrive;)

It worked out better, used my reward points and I also picked up a new receiver since my old Onkyo had no HDMI and the new Apple TV had no optical. Got a Denon AVR-S510BT on sale for 229

Got this from a chat a little while ago.

  • I can definitely understand that, and since you’re the last chat of my night, I’m going to level with you. Apple did not inform anybody about when the Apple TV would actually arrive in-stores. We had no idea it would arrive at stores until about 12 hours before on Thursday. I believe the expedited shipping was so that people who did want to order online, could get it on launch day, but the delivery window was as such that there was a little bit of leeway for Apple in-case they were unable to get them all out on Launch day.

I have been submitting feedback from customers to Apple all day regarding this exact thing, as you are far from the only person upset about this issue, and I completely understand why you’re upset.

I did the same thing, well minus the receiver. Funny enough, while walking around Best Buy with my kids I got the shipped email from Apple. Although FedEx tracking now list the delivery date as unknown. Of course, it will be returned whenever it arrives.

Finally got a shipping notice from Apple, and I ordered on Monday. It says I won't have it til Tuesday the 3rd. I suspect something happened to the shipments for the southeast ( I'm in Florida), because the Best Buy website also would not let me order in this area either. Just a "coming soon" button. There's something going on with some of the shipments.

I think some or a lot of us were cut off guard of when Apple was going to put them up for sale online. All honestly, It didn't feel like a genuine Apple release as it was available later in the morning, not at midnight Pacific Time.

With that being said, I'm not too mad that i have to wait until mid next week to get mine. Heck, I got a Oilers game on Sat night and a football game to go to on Sunday afternoon (CFL, go Eskimos :)).

OnTrac has my Apple TV now and it will be delivered on Monday 11/2

Lucky you. Mine is still "with the courier" according to DHL. After an interesting detour via Belgium (Brussels) it didn't show up last night. Afraid I have to play the unhappy customer with their customer service this morning. What a joke, that company. Tracking service is unreliable, can't give delivery times. Appearently drivers can do what they want and call it a day.

On Trac has mine. I really despise On Trac. Their vehicles look like they're in 10 accidents (bad word choose) per day. They simply seem unprofessional in my area.

I have gotten Apple Watch, phone case, phone, and many watch bands from Apple recently, all UPS or FedEx.

I wonder why the sudden On Trac?

I ordered first thing Monday morning. It still hasn't shipped. I assume it will Sunday or Monday. It's going back since I was in Best Buy yesterday and they had them in stock on the shelf. Yes, I'm inpatient; but I have this weekend free to play around with it and learn all the tricks. That may have been my last order direct from Apple.
