Apple TV 4 Pre-Order Thread

I wonder if yours ended up like mine... Here in AZ, and my package is shipping from Ontario, California. It was "shipped" yesterday to arrive today via next day delivery. Unfortunately UPS "left it in (their) facility" and it didn't actually get in transit until today. And in their infinite ignorance and lack of wisdom, they decided the next business day, Monday, was an acceptable delivery time.

I contacted Apple, who refunded the shipping charge, and I contacted UPS who basically told me "sorry, but we can't do anything now that it's in transit" despite it being their (utterly incompetent) mistake.

I'm giving FedEx until 12pm today, because FedEx usually hits our neighborhood before 11a on Saturdays. Then I'll call Apple and see what they say.
 
There is absolutely no rhyme or reason about which ATVs shipped and which didn't. I ordered mine at 8:50am et on Monday via free shipping and it has been in PFS since Tuesday. It does seem to me, from following this thread, that there are more problems in the Northeastern US and Canada than other regions.
 
I ordered 3 (1 32g and 2 64g), the entire order still says PFS. So yesterday I bought three at the apple store and plan on returning the 3. I also called apple to try and cancel, they put the request in but weren't sure if it was too late.

After getting home and setting up all 3 one of the online ordered atv's arrived! Even right now my order online says PFS, there is no indication one of them has shipped.

I will wait for all 3 to arrive and return them to the store. I also called apple (thanks for the advise) and got my shipping refunded. I'm in NY.

Was it FedEx or UPS

Same boat except my 1st one delivers yesterday and I agreed very weird
 
So much for overnight shipping UPS screwed that up.Mine went from California to Kentucky to Colorado, now it will sit in Commerce City for 2 days. :mad:

This is my situation as well. My first one came yesterday to the Lehigh Valley, PA, but my second one is stuck in PFS (even though I ordered that one first). I have the one though so maybe me waiting for my second one allowed someone else to get theirs so I'm okay with that... I can wait a little longer for it.

The other stupidity is that there is/was no way to order 2 or 3 in one order so we have all these extra shipments clogging things up. Wonder why you can't put a quantity on things in the Apple Store like this?

I ordered mine on Wednesday and it come yesterday to CT. So not necessarily a northeast problem. Maybe I just got really lucky?

That's what I was told, as well... Yet, Best Buy had TONS on their shelves!

Nope, used standard free shipping. It was originally supposed to come next week, but UPS updated it with "arriving earlier" and it came yesterday. Here is the amazingly quick route it took:

This is such a mess, my order from Monday 10am EST still is PFS. Still no email still no delivery. Yet Best Buy had plenty in stock as did the Apple Store. Had I known I could walk into a store Friday and buy one, I wouldn't have preordered on Monday

You got yours I'm in Lehigh valley PA still preparing for shipping
