I'm only seeing the 7-week free trial, even though I have the 11 pro max. On the IUP but don't think that is supposed to make a difference.

It shouldn't, I am on IUP same thing, and it said free trial for a year.

i hate how their shows are just thrown into the mix of everything else. It should have its own separate navigation point in the TV App. If there is, I am blind I guess.

It’s a bit odd that they’ve released this without a new Apple TV. I’m still waiting for an updated ATV before I upgrade to a 4K-one. Right now I don’t have anyway to watch these shows in 4K.

Same mistake as Apple Music. Streaming service commingled with local and owned contents. I wish Apple executives "eat their on dog food" and rework on this design just like how Steve Jobs had the iPhone team change to gorilla glass shortly before launching the iPhone.

The Morning Show looks interesting and I’m definitely in for For All Mankind - loved Ron Moore’s writing on TNG/DS9 & BSG. In my pre-caffeinated state I’d forgotten about the 1 year free trial with my iPhone 11 Pro. Will be watching this evening after work via ATV 4K. Nice to see the shows in Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos too - I can only make use of the latter at the moment, but good to see both present regardless.

This was my biggest disappointment. It’s $5.00 for basically a few original shows. I was hoping a more like Netflix service. Which also had other programming also. Even if I had to pay more for the service. Something that could more compete with Netflix or Hulu.

I didn't have to do anything special. It offered me the full year trial right away. (iPhone 11 Pro Max)

I have been really disappointed as well, especially with Apple Arcade and AppleTV+ now out, I expected a refresh with better processor, WiFi 6 and newer Bluetooth.

You should consider picking up FireStick4K in the meantime.

Just recently got my iPhone X replaced under AppleCare+ because of a battery issue and I was surprised to know it qualifies for a free 1 year subscription to AppleTV+!! I took it wth pleasure. Thanks Apple!

Its working great on my iPhone in the UK, gave me the opportunity to sign up for the free trial. It is not working at all on my MacBook yet (Catalina).

The terms and conditions seem to indicate that you can get your 1 year free trial as long as you sign up within 3 months of Nov 1st. So surely it’s better everyone just waits until end of January to sign up or am I missing something?

There will be more episodes/shows available by January 2020, and by January 2021 you may even be able to watch season 2 of some of the shows for free.

I thought it meant that you have to claim the free year within three months of buying your new device
