ok,, while this looks more sleeker, just because its transparent.... now i know what they mean by "black & White"
its looks ugly....
The transparency covers it up, but iOS has just gone good, to dull...
No colors, except where its "required"
Apples controlling how their phones look, when in actual fact, we bought them....
Did customers actually say they wanted this flat look black and white ? I don't think so.
Looks kind of more now like Android actually, The transparency really bring this to life.
Siri : This is good, but only minor changes here.... New languages are ok, but i don't use siri at all..
Camera : Good too, this "tagging" is getting to be much like iPhoto on the Mac ... Is Apple slowly rolling out "iPhoto-like" tagging featues (like face recognition) to iOS ?
Photo stream is all ok, but the 30 days is killing people.
Activation theft is good too... but I bet this only works iCloud...... The theft can just activate as normal, and there in anyway.... The only difference is they won't have your data, But maybe the theft may only WANT th iphone, not your data... Who wouldn't want a free phone ?
App store fixes: I only hope they have fixes the constant slow scrolling in the when the screen is full of Apps (like in the 'Purchased section'). AirDrop is good, but what files exactly ? I bet its limited.
iRadio .... Shame its ad-supported, but hey, if your an iTunes Match user you won't get ads....
(But who would pay $25 just to get rid of the ads, if they don't care about Match.) Personally, if its not a mixed bag like Pandora, then its a "pass" I don't want to choose what i listen too... After a time it gets too boring.
Maui-tasking is all well and good improved, but how will this effect battery life if it updates ?
I haven't seen Mac Pro yet, coz i started the stream to late same with the Air. I'm just wondering with Haswell, weather it has the same "power saving" even outside the OS (like current Sandy Bridge Mac's), where it it sleeps/display dims constantly, regardless of energy saver, and power applied...
For example, you have A/C plugged in, when display is dimmed. You wake it up and leave it. 10 secs later it dims again... 10 SECONDS...
I'm trying to find out if this 'over the top" power saving is part of the Sandy Bridge chip, since its outside the OS when it happens too, not just inside.
And if so, I'm hoping Haswell doesn't further restrict this to gain more battery life.
