or what about the fact that there are actually apple users here who actually see the similarities.. features borrowed from android.. features that have been in that os since a few versions ago. no need for samsung to tell me that, considering i use both platforms.

Every single feature is copied much as Apple Users have said Samsung Copied Apple.

At least Apple will have something to copy when Android and Windows mobile OS's upgrade.
They now have a new road map.
Copy the competition because we have no new ideas.
The sad part is it won't be released until this Fall and by that time just how many new features will be available on Android and Windows mobile.

Well, I have to say that my suspicions were completely unfounded. I was worried that Ive would make iOS7 more dull and boring.
But, instead of making it less elaborate and colourful, he made it even MORE elaborate and colourful.
This is simply amazing. He really delivered, except for some of the icons (Safari and Settings look like *****).

You mean so you can have a circle jerk of like-minded opinions about how much you love Apple and they can do no wrong? Something like that happened in Germany a while back that didnt work out too well...
You can also tell who the outright trolls and paid shills are by their join date.
They claim to be life-long iOS users, but their accounts date back to late 2012, or early 2013, and all of their posts disparage Apple.
It really is. I imagine them in their basements, drinking their mountain dew, typing on their alienware laptop, etc.
It's funny that hardcore android fans find the time to watch 2-hour APPLE PRODUCT PRESENTATIONS, then log into MacRumors to troll in real-time.
I would never find myself watching or caring about anything that Google/Samsung does, let alone watching any presentations they do, or logging into any android forums to complain about their products.

what's funny about it is that iPhone users have been bragging they're 'superior' to anyone else not just in terms of technology but in everything they're more successfuly, make more money /etc/etc and were buttheart when instagram (who cares) came to Android. Now you get awesome 4.7 - 5" screen phones S4/One etc. and now when Apple is copying multitasking, control centre, lock screen all from Android they get mad when they get trolled back. you've been building this case against yourselves and now this time you're the copiers....
ya go live in your fantasy world..(since I have an Android I must be typing this from my basement with my mountain dew and I weigh over 5000 lbs)

Seriously, who cares? Apple's iPhone was the impetus behind this entire revolution in the tech industry that saw phones becoming more talked-about than traditional computers. They did it again with the iPad. And you're complaining that they've made similar UI design choices to Android in their seventh iteration? Who the h*** cares?
It looks okay, but are there any pictures of it running with darker backgrounds? I prefer black devices so something too light won't really suit IMO, are there themes or any way to control the appearance of elements or are they supposed to just adapt to your wallpaper picture?

More like 500. And I would venture to say that yes, the Apple user is probably more successful, and makes more money than the Android user.

No. So that we can discuss iOS and iPhone without getting bogged down in arguments about another OS. It. is. seriously. tiresome. I came here to talk about iOS 7 and almost 100% of the discussion is just trolling and flame wars. The mods really should do something.
Definitely has the look and feel of Android. In fact it looks a lot like Jelly Bean on my Nexus 4. But I guess Google probably has time machines and went to the future to "steal" from iOS 7, right? 
When they first showed it my first reaction was "hmmm really?" but then as they took us through it more it grew on me. Some parts of the redesign are gorgeous and work really well, some others I'm not 100% keen on though. I am looking forward to having a look around the beta and seeing it first hand.
