you forgot samsung. I'd say it'd be pretty naive to ever see the samesung or samsung copied apple on this site again.

Apple just pulled a complete rip off of the entire mobile industry and had the audacity to slam their competitors on stage while doing it.

They are getting ripped in the tech blogs and every major news site.

I'd say a shift in attitude will be needed for the apple users that do nothing but slam everything non apple because ios is non apple.

Qft.

iOS 6 vs iOS 7

Holy S#&%

When you put them next to each other, iOS 7 literally makes me cringe. ***** was Apple thinking?!? I guess thats what happens when Ive's ego goes unchecked by Jobs.

You know, the first time I saw the new lock screen, I had to do a double take because it did strike me quite a bit as looking like the Galaxy S4.

I'm still tired as hell and completely whiny because of it, but to me, iOS7 does look like it takes a few cues from Google and a lot from MS. It's very Metro, but without as much emphasis on tiles.

You mean without any emphasis on tiles. I see iOS 7 borrowing from Android but see very few similarities to W8.

Ive tried the beta and the all-text design is actually really hard to use. You don't know whats a button and whats a label. Adding a new contact is particularly bad.

Maps makes you want to vomit.

The design is really all over the place. So inconsistent. Steve Jobs had the masters whip and he controlled the show. This shows that Apple is in demise. It is Rome waiting to happen. The biggest shock is the hardware... even that shows that Ive's is nowhere without the master. The current mac pro is a work of Art compared to the big black butt plug, or trash can. :(

Yeah, all the hardware up to the recent iMac was still approved by Steve. Now without him, they have lost all sense of direction. The Mac Pro looks like it's Darth Vader's piss pot. :D

I actually like the new look of iOS 7.0. Apple succeeded in removing the skeuomorphism of older iOS versions without really "dumbing down" the UI--and I like the other changes they've done to the UI in many places.

Well done, Mr. Ive.

Static Icons - Fail.

And for casual users who say who needs "live icons / widgets". Here's what I have on my start screen.

Stocks App (with live updates)
Weather App
Outlook Calendar App (live updates on my next scheduled item)
Email App - Will show you new emails on the home screen
ESPN App- Updating Sports Scores

You still think live icons are useless :rolleyes:. I couldn't ever switch back to iOS, even with the lack of app support.

Then again, I don't play games on my Windows phone 8, unless its on the sh*tter. NBA Jam will work. But recent release of Teamviewer / Splashtop sealed the deal for me.

I prefer a phone that lets me glance at everything instead of popping in and out.

I'm sorry. Would you like me to pop over to my neighbor's house (he lives right next door to me), take a picture of his Galaxy Nexus, and then post it sitting on a piece of paper with my username on kit?

Would that placate you?

that would be fantastic! i'll wait here.. go on

Where do you live? It's a great phone by the reviews and specs but it's only available in India, China and a few other countries. None in Europe or the US.

In the US :)

But there are Chinese sites which would deliver to the US. Do a search and you'll find a bunch.

It's not LTE, but frankly I find the roughly 3-4mbps speeds I get on my iPhone and old Galaxy Nexus on TMobile sufficient for most purposes.

I like the stainless steel body idea and for what I find myself using a phone I think the 5.5" 1080p screen should be ideal (I don't care about, or want, a stylus).

I was waiting to see if there is some sort of "one more thing" today, but while I do like the new UI, I am sure I can skin the K900 to look like it, if I really wanted to :)

I guess I'll enjoy iOS 7 on my iPad 4, but for a phone, I want more.

I don't know about all the icons, but the new clock icon appeared to be live
