Jet Black will scratch due to it's extreme glossy nature. Even the Apple site says so. If you're going to put a case on it, then you can't see it anyways. Get the normal black. Both the black colors look gorgeous. How to decide between them?

I love the thought of you waiting for the dual sim announcement every year for 9 years and still being surprised they haven't announced it yetAgain, no Dual SIM option....I will maybe check out iPhone 7s/8 next year.
There is huge market for Dual SIM phones which Apple just ignores.
No.not really. 32gb was standard on the iphone 6
use a Bluetooth to 3.5mm... they're like $15.My Car does not have a iPod dock so I use the 3.5mm and the lightning charger at the same time. Now what do I do, charge or listen to music and navigation.
I will pass.
That's not huge. It's tiny actually, because you're talking about connecting your head to a wall for extended periods of time. How often do you think people will really want to do this?
You're buying an expensive mobile device (with the best battery life yet for an iPhone) but, oh no, you don't want to spend a few bucks on wireless headphones to avoid routinely connecting your head to a wall???
Also, if that's really what you want to do, you'll be able to buy a pass-through adapter that will allow you to charge and listen to wired headphones at the same time.
This has to be the worst argument for keeping the old headphone jack.
Please don't put words in my mouth. Forcing a with technology upon the consumer before it is ready when better performing alternatives exist is not innovation. So what you're saying is we ought to just abandon the technology altogether
Catastrophic stupidity is not courage.
... If this is the first year not buying an iPhone, then that kinda means you bought all of the S models which were also minor updates. The speed of the A10, the camera, the improved Taptic engine, and the Stereo speakers are enough for me to love this phone all over again.
The benefits are improved water resistance, freeing up space for other hardware, and pushing people toward superior audio technology. You might not personally care for any of these benefits, but nevertheless they are benefits.
I decided for the Jet Black. I decided by going to the Speck site and viewing the cases there. That made the decision for me.
Yup, I've been using Speck for a while. Also use Otterbox when I'm going riding or I'm in the stable or in the field. But for my every day, I use Speck or sometimes even Sonix.Speck with their IMPACTIUM™ SHOCK BARRIERfor $40?
I got one of these, just in case I decide to go 7 Plus. $10. Super thin. You aren't going to get real protection unless you go Otterbox, if real protection from drops, etc., is what you're going for. I'm looking to keep my iPhone new looking is all.
It will come back when the 32 GB capacity is considered too small.why 64gb had to disappear?
Yup, the reason is digital didn't exist when they created the 1/8" audio jack.
The adapter is massive and will no doubt not fit in your pocket unless sticking out the top. This is a backward move despite all the hype and fan boy clapping
I'm glad to see that the iPhones are now water resistant. A long over due feature.
Can't charge and listen to wired headphones at the same time. I need this in my car, so no new iPhone for me.
Why are so many people charging their phones and listening to music?? Do you all really do this so much? If so, why? If I can charge my phone then it's likely i'm somewhere I can use another device - eg my home cinema, my home hi-fi or my home recording studio setup...why would I be using headphones in my iPhone if I have access to these?
The best testament to Otterbox protection was the gold iPhone 5S we found a year ago, in the gravely sand, run over by a car. The glass screen protector was cracked, and the 5S very slightly bent (we easily made it straight again), but the phone was otherwise perfect and working!Yup, I've been using Speck for a while. I was looking at the Ringke too. May end up getting one.
Not the right angle plug on the end of my Klipsch earbuds. Nice and flat against the phone. This thing...add an inch.Because the headphone wire doesn't already come sticking out of your pocket?
if you don't even have bluetooth audio that's a fail on your car
use your old phone while you drive around in your old car
if you care about music then buying a car in which you can't upgrade the stereo wasn't a very wise decision
I wasn't able to see the keynote, did I miss anything?
Finally a new Mac Pro after 3 years?
Oh yes, Otterbox is extremely dependable. I trust it when I know I'm going to be in a risky situation. The best testament to Otterbox protection was the gold iPhone 5S we found a year ago, in the gravely sand, run over by a car.
