God save the old jack. What will folks do, other than the majority who use whatever is in the box they get, or the remaining other folks who will simply add the adapter to it and forget about it, or those who never use it for anything and will love the new state of art wireless.

Yep, it takes courage to rake in billions in extra sales because of this. That is the motivation, nothing else.
Ya? Courage? Seriously? Courage to force everyone to conformity yes. At least they included the adapter. I guess even the Apple team can be "designed to be smarter" and listen to the consumers. They know now to include all additional dongles and adapters with all their new devices from here on in.
Courage? Please! Courage to manufacture yet another adapter by removing a headphone jack hole is courageous, exactly how may I ask?
Ya.. Here, we took away that hole, but there you go a new adapter to carry around with you and your new phone, thank you very much later! Suckas!

I guess when you lack something negative to say you look for something stupid instead by drawing the longest possible conclusion.
Courage? The courage not to buy an iPhone until they bring back the headphone jack. It's been around 100+ years for a reason. Wireless is a pain when flying and using phone in airplane mode....
The adapter is massive and will no doubt not fit in your pocket unless sticking out the top. This is a backward move despite all the hype and fan boy clapping

I guess I have to upgrade my car (can't upgrade the stereo) in order to listen to music and charge the 7 simultaneously. Fail.

Why does it feel like they're hiding photos and videos of the front side? Is that because the huge bezels are still there?

some of us had the old plans where they were subsidized. $299 based on a 2-year contract.
7+ 128GB glossy black looks tempting, just need to see what kind of upgrade offers become available. No way I can pay $800 out of pocket for one. The only thing disappointing to me was no mention of high definition audio support, no audio quality improvement with the switch to digital?

Apple internal memo: Hey guys, since we didn't actually change anything or have really any new products to offer, just keep saying, "Completely new!" and "Completely re-designed" and "Our best ever!" over and over and people will think the iPhone 7 and everything else is revolutionary! 
Yeah, we needed more room for the extra speaker, so people could have "Stereo".
When was the last time you saw someone use their iPhone as a boombox?
IMO they should never have ditched the glossy look. That jet black color makes the others look like knockoffs. But I'm gonna hold off till next year for the radical redesign. I also gotta upgrade my Mac this year, so I can't afford it. (I COULD but I'm not gonna take that hit in my wallet)
As for the presentation, Tim looked nervous, could be the whole debacle in Ireland. Mario and Pokemon were great, even if the latter was cringeworthy.
