Quite ridiculous pricing once again. It's €769 ($865) in The Netherlands. And the average US income is generally much higher than in Europe, so that even stings more.
Definitely downhill a little - lost the focus on design, i mean seriously that camera bump is completely not good design
Care to explain what "digital audio" is then? Afaik they're still using electromagnetism to move the drivers and that needs an analog signal. Those don't do **** with 1s and 0s.What is the problem?
They are providing you an adapter free of charge. And they're moving into the fully digital world.
To me it sounds like a win-win.
60FPS video on a watch? Quad core processor in the phone that's 40% faster than it's predecessor that is already the most powerful phone available? Enhanced battery life?I am getting so fed up with the Apple hypobole and lack of real innovation. Today was so underwhelming. Anyone else considering jumping ship to Android?
Yeah can't wait to see the benchmark scores!
iPhone 7: £599, £699, £799
iPhone 7 Plus: £719, £819, £919
UK pricing is crippling lol
13th SeptemberThis is my question. No date was given for the iOS release. I am guessing before the 7 ships, so Friday, September 9th maybe?
No more $199, $299, $399 thanks to the extinction of subsidized contract prices. The day finally came.
Same. It's rather stupid that nothing smaller than a full-size iPad can use that thing. (Though I don't hear many people bemoaning it, so maybe it's a niche desire?)I'm pretty let down at the lack of Apple Pencil support, so I'll probably be skipping this year's model.
I'd like that, but it didn't happen obviously.They could have done 64 128 256
looks that way to me too- probably will have to wait for the 3rd party adapters that include charger! From the photos, it doesn't look like you can charge while listening to headphones. If true, that's a pretty huge downside. The only option would be to spend more money on wireless headphones of some kind.
I actually think the SE model is the best design they have ever had and should work on that lolAnd those wireless headphones are hideous looking. I beginning to think Ive is going senile or trolling us.
I hear they're discontinuing EARS next year, because they're analog and as such, outdated. Why did it have to happen someday? There is no benefit to getting rid of the headphone jack unlike getting rid of floppy disks or CD drives.
If Apple had any courage, they'd admit Lightning is a mistake and switch to USB-C. If they're going to remove the headphone jack, at least use a different standard connector. It had to happen sometime. I'd say courage is accurate.
